My wife and I decided to accept Lion’s invitation and made it to AC on Wend night. W had planed to get there early in the day but due to some family issues that came up late we didn’t get there till late. I ran into the birthday posse at the tables and we made plans to meet up the next day. The wife and I spent the rest of the evening in the slot area. It worked out nice because she found "her" machine which was right next to the video poker area. We both did pretty well. She hit a small jackpot and I got 2 royals on the same machine. This trip was starting great!
Thursday morning, Lion’s birthday, We got on the tables in the early afternoon. I was at SL3 with a quite large stranger at SL1/2. Lion was at SR1 with the Princess and others to his right. We all started slow with all of us having trouble getting past the five count on the first time around the table, yes, I was 5 counting everyone including myself. Then Lion got us started with a nice 18 hand. I followed with a very profitable 24. I was come betting and although my sig number "9" wasn’t showing up I seemed to be throwing lots of 10s and 4s using the hardways threes on top 5s facing. Not what I expected but I noted the spot and kept nailing it. At one point I had come bets with max odds(5x) on four numbers including 4 and 10. I was up and down on the ten a few times when a guy to my left says" can you toss a 4 for us. I really need this" I glanced at the layout and noticed a few buys on the 4 as well as a few on the 10 along with come bets on both. Seriously these guys are actually paying attention.My dice are looking good/landing flat and staying on axis so I get cocky and switch my set to the 2v figuring to chase the 4 and ten money. Now I have been throwing some numbers with the hard ways set but this is fun. Thankfully it works out and about three rolls later I throw a hard 4. I’m getting knuckle bumps and high fives from the gus to my left and attaboys from others. I switch back to the hardways and continue my hand. About 20 rolls into my hand I deadcat a hard ten which brings heat not from the crew but this runt suit I hadn’t seen around. He stopped the game to remind me to hit the back wall. This kind of ticked me off cause it was the first time I had failed to hit his stupid wall. My hand ended a few throws later. After dinner we met up again but all the tables were packed. A few of us got on the tables later but not on the same table. I had another 27 hand before the trip was over. In all a very fun trip and with the 2 royals on Wend it was a nice bump to the 401G that even my wife’s slot play didn’t eat into it she was a winner at slots this trip. So happy birthday Lion. It was an honor to be part of the birthday celebration.

I don’t believe in signature numbers and shouldn’t you. You might have a signature number or IMHO a number that keeps rolling in a particular round with the dice, but you and everyone should get out of their mindset that "I always throw a certain number". Your dice, the table conditions, etc. will change during each round so what you did by come betting is the way to go! That was a good thing because it put you on the numbers that you were throwing.

Actually this is not heat. The rules of the game is that you have to hit the back wall at all times. He was just doing his job, and trying to throw you off your game. I am sure that your mindset changed when this happened as you stated your hand ended a few throws later.
Again, I hope you don’t mind that I brought up these things. It will make you a better player
