Floyd Patterson was married to my uncles sister. I was in his company many times. He was a true gentleman. Quiet and reserved by nature. He loved and appreciated boxing fans.
He got me a boxing gloved signed by a ton of boxers including Ali and Joe Frazer.

Every year he would donate signed stuff for my friends charity auction for retired priests on Long Island. Real nice guy.

Patterson was the youngest person to win the championship at 21 years of age. He was the first boxer to regain the title after losing it.
