\nI wonder what the math says your roll length should look like with the SRR that you have after rolling 5,000 or more rolls in practice . I feel that some think that it would be normal to go way past what your SRR is .
\n\tSay your SRR is 7.0 which is great . Then you roll the dice and are on your 15 th roll . Which is ALREADY 2Xs your SRR . Do you think that is normal or what ? By know you should be ahead right ? Do you expect to go to 3,4 or even 5 times your SRR ? Or are you thinking of the long game and believe that this is a one time think and it will end soon . Or do you just not count the rolls and wish that it sets the new record ?
\n\tOr do you hit the machines and get MAD if you never make it passed your SRR ?
\n\tI don’t bother to much with the SRR thing when at the casinos .For one reason like the roll were I first tried come betting that roll had a lot of 7s in it ,like 7 or 8 with 7 being come out 7s . I may be wrong but it was below 7 .
\n\tDuring that roll I thought that I was lucky that they came on the come out since I was not setting for them .
\n\tMaybe the math guys can add to this just a few good thoughts . Thank You .

I read this article awhile back .It was good to read it again tho . I just wanted to see what others thought about this . When you read this it seems to make money you would take 3 0r 4 wins right away and then limit your loosess ?????

There was a guy, maybe he is still alive that I used to teach with at the camp that I started with. He would tell me before he shot to take down my bets after his 7th roll of the dice – if he got there – because he never rolled longer than 7. <\/p>\n

\tYour SRR is like a 300 hitter. That hitter was up to the plate 7 times and he didn’t get a hit. Does that mean that the next 3X’s he will get a hit and if we could we should bet a million on that fact? No. It just means that for the season he is batting 300. <\/p>\n

\tSame with your SRR of 7. You could have a 5 hand roll, then a 2, then 4 than a 17 for a total of 28 rolls in 4 tries giving you a SRR of 7 in that session. That is why betting is the key to making money. You need to keep your bets to the lowest house edge. <\/p>\n

Dom, that is so right on. In your example three out of your 4 times with the dice, the results were very short rolls but the long long roll brought you back. As your said making bets with the house’s lowest edge you lost very little money, and the final roll of 17 brought you back. <\/p>\n

\tWe know that many times Rose and Doc can have a short roll (let’s say under 10 rolls) with 3 or 4 sevens but all but the final 7 were come out rolls. Not only do we win on the come out 7’s but we may very well have a 2 or 3 pay days putting chips in the rail and only have 1 or 2 bets on the table at the final 7 out. Did we win much–of course not but WE DID NOT LOSE MONEY!!!
\n\tAs NFF says you lose less so you can win more.<\/p>\n
