\nSo how many rolls should it take to make a point ? How often should you expect to make more then one point in a roll .

Let me start with saying that the object of this game and what we do is to avoid the 7, not to make points. <\/p>\n

\tAt the seminars when I introduce our GREAT instructors, one instructor’s introduction hammers this point – NickatNight. IN Shreveport a few years back, Nick gets the dice and establishes a point of 4. 64 rolls later he throws 7 out NEVER making that 4.<\/span><\/strong> That 4 was an outlier. Now do you think we made a lot of money on that roll? Hell yes! <\/p>\n

\tIt’s throwing numbers people and avoiding the 7. Now I can tell you that Nick probably wanted to throw that 4 just to take a break from throwing, but he never did. <\/p>\n

\tSo remember it is all about avoiding the 7<\/p>\n

Exactly. We would love to never make my point–as long as we avoid the 7 for many rolls.<\/p>\n

It is Great to have rolls like that But most are not and you do make points in some long rolls .
\n\tSo like the 7 is to come along x times how often does a win on pass line by making your point come along ?
\n\tI would like to roll a point then my come bet goes to it and then roll it again and again till the sun comes up But that is fun toooo . Not much at risk but all wins is nice . \ud83d\ude00 \ud83d\ude00 .
\n\tWe need to talk about the garbage rolls too .
\n\tHow bad of a roll would have that 64 roll been if he made 2,3 or even more points in that roll ? I would be happy with any 64 roll . \ud83d\ude00 .

I am surprised that Skinny did not come up with some math on this .
\n\tI remember one roll I did were the guy next to me said that was a good roll . I then asked him if he know how many rolls it was . He said that he does not count rolls but does have a system that he uses . He puts one dollar on his 5.00 pass line bet if the point is made . He said that his pass line bet was at 13.00 when I rolled the 7 . He also told me about his other bets that he adds to which start at one unit and goes up one unit . They were like 75.00 and 35.00 and 25.00 . To long ago to be exact .
\n\tI think it was one of my better rolls and at that time in my life I did not press AT ALL any of my bets
\n\tI have learned a lot more about betting since then . I still am a low roller tho .

Finisher I am not sure that there is a formula to determine how many rolls one should have before hitting a point. Every single turn with the dice is a different scenario. As Dom said, repeating numbers and avoiding the 7 is the goal. Who cares if we are hitting points or not as long as we are putting chips in our racks. I’ve never had a roll n the 60’s (yet) but I have had several in the 30’s and 40’s where I may have hit only 1 or 2 points but made a killing none the less. About the only time hitting points is even remotely important is if you have money on the Fire Bet or Sharpshooter Bet (which they have in one of my local casinos) and since I NEVER play those bets, I don’t really care.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
