\nRose and I were in the Caribbean for a few days just before Christmas. The exact place will not be mentioned but but let’s just say it was the place that sunk into the ocean many years ago \ud83d\ude00 . <\/p>\n
\tI went to the table and watched for about 20 minutes. It looked a little bouncy but I thought playable. My spot opened up, I bought in and it was much worse that I thought. I would be better off throwing on a trampoline. I took most of my odds off and and a quick seven out, so the loss was not too bad–about $40 dollars. Checked out some of the other tables–that were not open. Found one that I though might be playable. Found it open later that night and bought in. My turn came and it was much the same. Only had a pass line bet with single odds. Then I colored up. <\/p>\n
\tThe BJ was all 8 deck shoes (which I hate as they are such a grind) and it had bad rules. The lone exception was a 6\/5 single deck game (which I observed) with the shuffle after 2 rounds and the player was playing alone!!! Go figure. <\/p>\n
\tThought I would try the VP—the the pay schedules were terrible. <\/p>\n
\tNo Pow Pai poker. And I won’t play any of the "carnival " games. <\/p>\n
\tSo I put my entire bank roll in the room safe and headed to the outstanding workout room, where I went each and every day after that. In addition, Rose and I went on most all of the slides and water rides and enjoyed the beach. <\/p>\n
\tWould I go to this place in the future. In a heart beat I would. It is a beautiful 141 acres of fun and great food—but the gambling sucked. So take the family and go have fun, but my suggestion is stay away from the tables. This was a tough decision for me to not to play, but if I don’t feel I have an advantage I simply don’t play and wait for the next trip for better opportunities. <\/p>\n

It has been awhile that I have been at a casinos where the dealers were really into the game. <\/p>\n \tThe tables are slightly bouncy and this is what you should do. Pick a table to play on and stick to that table and that spot for the whole trip. Sometimes I waited an hour sitting on a chair at a slot machine waiting for the spot to open up. I even had a waitress say to me, "boy do you look comfortable" and I was – the slot chairs were very comfortable \ud83d\ude00 <\/p>\n \tThe table was either a $15 or $25 with 3\/4\/5 odds. The buffet is great, small selection but all selection were very good. The egg burrito at the beach – great for breakfast. The Italian place with the ceasar salad made at the table is delicious! The pig place is a terrible long wait.
