\nAnyone knows whether an email or email address can be hacked?
\n\tHow would you know your email was hacked and the hacker has
\n\tcaptured your email and is now using your email?<\/p>\n

The email account can be hacked. First thing you do is change your password. Also look in your sent folder, or outbox and see if anything weird in there. Also remember they can send from anywhere and use your email address. I can remember the first time I got a email from myself that was spam, I thought wtf… But it was just someone automating their system to make the from email the same as the send to email address making it look like I sent it. So they can send as you without hacking your email account. <\/p>\n

\tTo find out if someone has hacked it and using it depends on how they gained or did not gain access. If they are logging in as you on your email server, then you would see a record of any sent messages they havent deleted. You might even see messages in the trash folder. If they arent logging in but just faking your address you’d need to get an actual message from them, there would be information that would locate them geographically inside that message. <\/p>\n

\n\tPart of it is the definition or perception of what constitutes ‘hacking’.
