We had two rolls each (6, and 6 for him, 15 and 7 for me), and then went to lunch to await our friends. Sandra, Jack, and Mr. Finesse joined us later, and only Mr. Finesse had a decent roll of 21. (I gave him my position.) After Pai Gow and dinner, the following rolls were tossed: Jack had a 10, 7, 3, and 9; Sandra rolled a 14, 3 and 12; Mr. Finesse tossed a 2, 8, and 5; and Sandtrap tossed a 7, 8, and saved us with a 24 roll.

Tuesday morning everyone showed up early, and we were on an empty table. Now the rolls were Bob – 10, 10, 5 with repeating numbers; Sandtrap had a nice 22, 11, and 5; Sandra rolled one 9; and Jack had a nice 20 and a 4. After breakfast only Sandtrap and Bob got shooting spots at the table. Bob had a 10 and a 7. Sandtrap did well for us with a 6, 18, 3, and a very nice 23 roll. After lunch, Bob and Sandra went to rest. Jack tossed a 4, 4 , and 10. Sandtrap rolled a 13, 3, and 7. I tossed a beautiful 25 with repeating numbers, followed by a nice 14 roll. This time there was a drunk at the end of the table whose high stack of chips on the pass line and odds were right in my throwing lane, and he kept on shouting various things. I was managing to avoid his chips with difficulty, when I happened to look down and caught Jack’s eye. He comes bounding over, and yells at me to forget about the drunk and do my thing! Well, I lost focus, and the 14th roll was the 7 out. We went to Pai Gow, and then dinner.

We all met in the Epic club for dinner, and after we were finished eating I began to feel very faint, and Bob said I was pale. I was also having trouble breathing, and went to lie down on the banquette. A strange woman came over, and putting her hands on my face and squeezing my cheeks, asks “what’s the matter?” I brushed her hands off me, and asked what she thought she was doing as she wasn’t a doctor! I wasn’t able to stand or drive my scooter, so security came with a wheelchair, and took me to our room, with Sandtrap following in the scooter. I lay down in bed, and after 12 hours of sleep, felt fine. I’ve been having trouble with shortness of breath, but this was something new. Sandtrap stayed with me, but the others went back to the craps table, and said they had some good rolls. Jack then left for home as his brother-in-law had had a heart attack.

Wednesday morning we again got on an empty table. Sandtrap had a 7, 15, and 4 roll. Bob had rolled a 3, 5, 11, and 5 rolls and left the table. Sandra had 19 roll and a 4. I took Bob’s place and rolled a very nice 34, making us all a profit. The player next to Sandra stayed on the “don’t” the entire roll. We took Sandra to our favorite breakfast place in Gardiner’s Basin, a 5 minute drive, where we can sit outside looking at the bay and the fishing & sailing boats, and they have the best pancakes! After breakfast, Sandtrap tossed a 25 and Sandra had a 17 roll. The table got too crowded, and we left. After lunch only Sandtrap and I went to craps. A man at the other hook was rolling, when a man at our hook placed a couple of bets. The shooter complained his roll was being interfered with. Sandtrap gets the dice, and after his point is established, and he has the dice, the first shooter buys in for more chips. Now the man at our end yells at him: “You complained about me placing a bet, and now buy in in the middle of his roll? What’s wrong with you?” Sandtrap tossed a 13 and a 7. I rolled a 22 and a 13. Now there were two men at the table who kept up a stream of swear words and criticisms of each other non-stop, and we decided to leave the table. Sandra and Bob had to go home, so Sandtrap and I had dinner together, and this time I felt fine, thank goodness.

Thursday morning Sandtrap tossed a 5, 4, 8, and broke out with a beautiful 34 roll! I had a 5 roll, followed by a 12 with seven 6’s, and then an 8, again with 6’s. Again, the one obstreperous player from yesterday was on the right side. During Sandtrap’s 34 roll, he kept playing the “don’t” along with the “iron cross” and kept losing. At one point, he had come bets on every number, but without odds! Then he lay all the numbers, and took them down just before the 7 showed! And, he kept saying “I know what I’m doing!” When it was his turn to shoot, he placed every box number, but was on the “don’t” for his established point, which he hit several times, and lost his bets. By this time, his same adversary from yesterday also joined our table, and kept up the arguments, saying “You’re an octopus, all over the place!” And, “Smart aleck!” as well as swear words. The supervisor had to tell them to tone it down, but it did no good.

We went back to Gardiner’s Basin for lunch, packed up our car, and returned to a newly opened table. Unfortunately, those two players were on the other table, and moved over to our table when they saw us. Sandtrap still managed an 11 roll, and then a fantastic 46 roll! I rolled a very nice 26. Now we had nice profits for the week, and headed for home. Due to various medical problems for both of us, we hadn’t been to AC since March, and were really looking forward to this trip. How nice that we did well.

Replies:

Posted by: JawBones on May 20, 2016, 11:34 am

Great report and congrats on a profitable trip. Most obnoxious people ever and I was next to him. Had a nice roll (33), he lost a nice bankroll and went to another table just telling everyone he knows what he’s doing, I hit the all on that roll as well and went back to resorts where I am staying. Resorts went to 5x odds just no fire or sta, much more enjoyable and filled the racks!!! Thanks so much for your help this spring at refresher, worked wonders!
