It was well above the 6.23, therefore it was a statistical advantage for the attendees.

Box numbers and inside numbers thrown show some control but not a high enough percentage, nor is the 212 an ideal sample size. The shooters still need to hone their skills.

There was no data gathered on whether come or place betting was better. But the prevailing sense was come betters fared slightly better. It depends on how much you press or how much odds you put behind.
Don’t know if the 17 points made out of 37 point cycles is above or below the mark. I guess it depends on which points were established for the point cycle.

Anyway, the team is still in its infancy and will continue to track its progress. We have another team shoot planned and will report out how much wrecking we do.

Scooter

Replies:

Posted by: Skinny on March 22, 2016, 10:50 pm

Very nice report Scooter. Sounds like a positive session.

I would suggest one other stat if you are interested. I think it is worthwhile to find out which players made/lost/broke even. The best way to measure it is in terms of your initial amount at risk.

Posted by: Scooter on March 22, 2016, 11:40 pm

Skinny,
Yes, that is indeed the yardstick to measure the success.

After our team shoot at the comp-ed buffet, the team was polled as to win/loss and how much. One of our blockers (still a novice) said he broke even. He was basically betting place bets single level and not pressing. He is still learning the ropes. Totally we collectively walked away with $28,400. One ATS bet of $25 across by a blocker netted him $6425. He ended up at $6500. The rest were all in the $1-2-3K range.

For most of us it is far safer to throw in numbers/teams. We’re trying to stay under the radar and avoid casino heat. Time will tell.

Posted by: Skinny on March 23, 2016, 4:22 am

Scooter,

That is great. I suspected it was a positive session and your winnings do indeed bear that out.

I also mentioned "initial amount at risk" as the yardstick against which you should be measuring your wins. I have 1 article and 2 posts I would like your team and you to review. After reading them you will understand why I am discussing this concept. It is a mathematical term that I am using here to give folks insight into how they can analyze their wins/losses realistically. It gives you a measuring tool that can be helpful.

This article describes the term "initial amount at risk" and how you can use it.
How much should I be winning at the tables?

This post in the wisdom section may give some insight into what it takes to be successful at the tables.
Make your money on the 10+ to 20+ rolls

The next post is a thread that has a couple of responses by me.
