{"id":9297,"date":"2016-01-27T17:33:43","date_gmt":"2016-01-27T17:33:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumarchives.tmsites.net\/index.php\/2016\/01\/27\/know-this-guy\/"},"modified":"2016-01-27T17:33:43","modified_gmt":"2016-01-27T17:33:43","slug":"know-this-guy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumarchives.tmsites.net\/index.php\/2016\/01\/27\/know-this-guy\/","title":{"rendered":"KNOW THIS GUY?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- Original Post Content --><br \/>\nHe is Edward \u201cEd\u201d Mezvinsky, born January 17, 1937. <br \/>\n\tThen you\u2019ll probably say, \u201cWho is Ed Mezvinsky?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\tWell, he is a former Democrat congressman who represented<br \/>\n\tIowa \u2019s 1st congressional district in the United States House<br \/>\n\tof Representatives for two terms, from 1973 to 1977.<\/p>\n<p>\tHe sat on the House Judiciary Committee that decided<br \/>\n\tthe fate of Richard Nixon.<\/p>\n<p>\tHe was outspoken saying that Nixon was a crook and a disgrace to<br \/>\n\tpolitics and the nation and should be impeached.<\/p>\n<p>\tHe and the Clintons were friends and very politically<br \/>\n\tintertwined for many years.<\/p>\n<p>\tEd Mezvinsky had an affair with NBC News reporter Marjorie Sue<br \/>\n\tMargolies and later married her after his wife divorced him.<\/p>\n<p>\tIn 1993, Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, then a freshman Democrat in<br \/>\n\tCongress, cast the deciding vote that got President Bill Clinton\u2019s<br \/>\n\tcontroversial tax package through the House of Representatives.<\/p>\n<p>\tIn March 2001, Mezvinsky was indicted and later pleaded guilty<br \/>\n\tto 31 of 69 counts of bank fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud.<\/p>\n<p>\tEd Mezvinsky embezzled more than $10 million dollars from people<br \/>\n\tvia both a Ponzi scheme and the notorious Nigerian e-mail scams.<\/p>\n<p>\tHe was found guilty and sentenced to 80 months in federal prison.<\/p>\n<p>\tAfter serving less than five years in federal prison, he was released in <br \/>\n\tApril 2008 and remains on federal probation.<\/p>\n<p>\tTo this day, he still owes $9.4 million in restitution to his victims.<\/p>\n<p>\tAbout now you are saying, \u201cSo what!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\tWell, this is Marc and Chelsea Mezvinsky.<\/p>\n<p>\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i64.tinypic.com\/335bp52.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\n\tThat\u2019s right; Ed Mezvinsky is Chelsea Clinton\u2019s father-in law.<\/p>\n<p>\tNow Marc and Chelsea are in their early thirties and purchased<br \/>\n\ta 10.5 million dollar NYC apartment).<\/p>\n<p>\tHas anyone heard mention of any of this in any of the media?<\/p>\n<p>\tIf this guy was Jenna or Barbara Bush\u2019s, or better yet, Sarah Palin\u2019s daughter\u2019s father-in- law, the news would be an everyday headline and every detail would be reported over and over.<\/p>\n<p>\tAnd yet say there are no double standards in political reporting.<\/p>\n<p>\tAnd people are already talking about Hillarious as our next President!<\/p>\n<p>\tAnd then there is possibly Chelsea for president in our future!<\/p>\n<p>\tThe cycle never ends!<\/p>\n<p>\tLying and corruption seem to make Democrat candidates more popular.<\/p>\n<p>\tWhen the people fear the government, there is tyranny.
