\nThere’s a Casino & NASCAR track 3 miles from Rob’s house & mine too, but we hardly ever play there. They just opened a new Burger & Shakes grab & go joint. Everyone with a Players Card got a coupon for 2 free meals so that’s been burnin’ a hole in my pocket. I talked Rob into going up there for supper tonight so I could use my coupon. Of course, we strolled by the craps table (only one of 3 open at $10) & our spots (SL-1 & 2) were open…that was a sign that we should give it a try. Bought in for $100 each…kinda’ got cold feet after a complete blow-up awful night last night in Harrington…UGH. 12′ felt table & nice height. Ever heard of a feature bet called "Hot Rolls" where the shooter has to roll a min of 2 numbers in all combinations (3+1 and 2+2 to make the 4, etc). We’ve never seen it on any other table, even in LV or AC. The payoff for 2 Hot Rolls is 5-to-1 and it goes up to 6 Hot Rolls for 200-to-1. You can bet up to $25 on it but I only put down $1 & Rob put down $2 plus $1 for the dealers. Again, gun-shy about pressing too much given the recent debacle. So Rob rolled for about 50 minutes, 46 rolls & made all 6 numbers of Hot Rolls. Unknown number of points but I do know that he hit all 6 numbers at least once so if the table had featured Fire Bets instead of Hot Rolls, he’d have another 6 pointer…2 in 2 months. The $3 made us $600 and another $200 for the dealers. Major Applause & lots of cheering!! Our $200 buy-in garnered us $1,560 clear…that’s awesome for us because we bet very conservatively…too little, so we’ve been told by numerous dealers\/bankers. We colored up and floated to the cashier’s cage. What did we do next? Went to cash-in our coupon at the burger joint…hey, girl’s gotta’ eat, right??? Just took an hour-long detour, that’s all. Moral of the Story: Feature Bets are Sucker Bets till somebody wins…and Never pass up a Free Meal !!!<\/p>\n
