They guy is f..king great at spotting and fixing what you have that is off or too much on.

Saying that, if the 2016 schedule comes out with the first live on a weekend I am not teaching I have dibs on the first one on Friday.

That, or do a personal with Dom. Costs a more but you get your money back next roll no matter which you go with.

Not been to a live seminar in a while? Why? One person was telling me she couldn’t afford it. Well, follow the directions and come to a live rather than going to the casino and loosing. Then you will win and have enough $$ to go wherever you want — I say that to EVERYONE.

In Monaco I paid my part of the European entire trip. Happily we missed the Paris excitement by a coupe of weeks. Came home. Visited with the Northeast group Finesse writes about. Not much doing.

Walked over to another table and won enough to do more than a year’s live seminars including airfare and lodging.

                      Now that is FUN!!!

What are you people waiting for??

Do another seminar.

Let me give you a hint — Many people try to understand what they are told so they can do. That is actually backwards.

The way it works best is:

Someone tells you what to do. WITHOUT THINKING!!! Follow the directions EXACTLY Did I mention that there is no thinking allowed at this point!!!
Then AFTER you duplicate exactly what is instructed you can begin to understand what you have been told. Funny thing is you do better before the thinking part — then screw up as you begin to understand — then do better than you could imagine after you duplicate and understand.

Look back to the discussion of the word "release" this summer. Getting that cleared up had me up more than enough to attend every live seminar next year and that was before this weekend’s win.

BUT, I had $10K wins (yes, plural) 6 weeks after my first live and then again 4 weeks after that just before the Memphis seminar. That does not include the many 1K and 4+K wins — It also does not include the times I was stupid enough to throw away 2-4 K when my throw was off, but I have stopped that and now work that out at home where it does not cost me anything… But, I had it to loose from the other wins.

——-

Another thing. If you are a bit off and cannot figure anything else. Move.

Winning so I went again last night. GTCer L…. at sl1 me at sl2. He did nothing and had said so when I walked up. He let me in and switched. I did just enough to get past even and 7ed. L… now at sl2 had a just a under monster roll that had me up 3x my buy in. Hell, I looked over and realized he was not even taking full odds. I told the dealer I was adding enough to fill up his odds. Before I even get the money on the table he hits the point!! and gets paid the bonus. Nice enough to offer me back the bet but a deserved gift is deserved.

Nice stuff.

I would love to tell you how much more I won after the dice came around but… I threw back a bunch trying to press it. BUT, I had it to throw back.

You NEED to do more live seminars so you can join this fun on a regular basis. NO THINKING ALLOWED, just follow the directions.

If you are short sighted enough to not be willing to do a live, BUY THE VIDEO ON THE WEB SITE and watch the thing 50 times like I did. Well, not 50 of the betting part but from the Physical of Dice Control section on. The darn thing is $149 That is less than most loose on their not so bad loosing days.

This is so much fun I do not understand why people do not do more of it.

Love to all,
JJJ

Replies:

Posted by: JesJac on November 17, 2015, 1:52 pm

By the way, having said all that. I am not making the kind of bank that you talk about but I suspect I am playing a much smaller game. It is only a matter of time and I am sure I will be joining you in the highly successful club.

My wife and I practice with chips and have a 1/2 table we purchased after the last Vegas refresher course. Last night she had a 58 roll hand and it was a thing of beauty. Now to do the same in a casino. We have been playing more regularly lately and have begun to grow the 401g a little bit at a time.

I echo your advice to get training regularly and practice, practice, practice. We are developing a skill that transforms us from "gamblers" to advantaged players. The journey is a truly enjoyable one at that.

Jawbones

Posted by: professor on November 17, 2015, 6:28 pm

Jesse is correct when he said I did not have a good night going. However John C was there to keep me in the game. He hit a four fire and his shot was absolutely beautiful. As much as I try to emulate his shot it never can be. He is just silk smooth. So when Jesse showed up the logical thing for me to do was to give him my spot at SL1. Previous to this I was informed I wasn’t really getting set before I shot and when the dice came to me it was suggested I count to three before shooting. I did and things improved but not enough. Now Jesse arives, I give him my spot and move to SL2. Little did I know for that night that was the right move. So I did everything the same including counting to three. Don’t know how many shots it was but there were two stick changes. Profitable night for all i think and fun to boot. What Jesse forgot to tell you was the great roll he had before I had my roll, probably in the 20’s. If she is not doing that in the casino it means she is doing something different in the casino than a home.

She needs a routine that she can duplicate in the casino. Take a look at golfers on TV. Each has a routine they go through to make each shot consistent as possible.

I use a mental checklist that is not mental at my home table. It is written out and laying there on a large pad of paper.

Where the heck is your 58 roll???

If you need to, sign up for a tune up with Mr. Finesse or get with Dom and specifically ask for a routine to practice at home that can be duplicated in the casino. Then double your bankroll and rise your betting accordingly. Much more fun as you get up there and stop worrying about losing because in the long run you will win. 🙂

Posted by: JesJac on November 18, 2015, 12:32 am

By the way prof., were you in AC in October??

Did you get a tune up from Mr. Finesse? If not, what are you waiting for?? Athletes without a good coach that is consistently there to give feedback never do as well as the ones that have one. From what I saw you just need some expert coaching to get more consistent — I am not the guy to give it. Don’t know enough. Finesse is.

Want to make a good investment? Take what was earned last night and this month, put it away and arrange your next coaching session. Take a look at the 2016 schedule when it comes out, sign up for a tune up immediately and complain to Dom that there are not more AC seminars sooner 🙂 Personally, once every two weeks or so would be what I want — not reasonable for the GTC instructors because they do not get much to do the seminars but what I would love to have.

Well, how much closer than AC can you get?? And, Resorts is a Mohegan property and will give you a free room if you play.

Oh, for those who think Dom and the GTC instructors makes a bunch on the seminars, HA! I teach all over the world and know how much it costs to provide the rooms, instructors and etc. Count up the people, count up the instructors and their expenses, the storage of the tables between seminars, the cost to deliver the tables and set-up and you discover that it ain’t much (pardon the vernacular but it is appropriate). This more likely a work of love and fun. Funny to think of it that way but it must be.

Posted by: JawBones on November 18, 2015, 1:53 pm

Hey Jes. My bride and I just did a private with Dom a couple of weeks ago. Our shots are much improved. We stay within our 401g as far as initial spread, not risking more than 1% of out account on the initial spread. We were doing the Big Skinny but have now changed after working with Dom. We put out a bit more from the get-go with our new betting strategy but get above Break even after only 2 hits where with TBS it took 5 to cover our bets as we continued to put more on the table with each hit.

It is working well but we have to get used to it so it is more automatic. We really aren’t in a hurry. We are enjoying the journey.

Your advice is well-taken however. In 2016 I am planning on doing a video analysis on Friday and the Advanced course Saturday and Sunday. My bride will do a refresher and probably a tune-up. Had a tune up scheduled in Vegas but my flight was delayed by hours and I missed it. Will plan on getting there a day early for the next one. As soon as the schedule comes out I will pick the course.

Jawbones

Posted by: JesJac on November 18, 2015, 2:57 pm

Great JB. Looks like you are already on the program.

You have to bet within your BR and within your comfort zone.

Dom will tell you that I am not comfortable betting smaller. The reason, I can throw in the 20s pretty regularly. I mean, more than 40% of the time by actual count over the last 2 1/2 months — except a Campione where the table was just too bouncy.

Given that, the thing I do is press up quickly and then take the profits on the second round. That is too aggressive for most and, like the other day, if 7 comes quickly I end up loosing a bunch fast but my BR can take it.

I can hear Dom sighing and regretting that I posted that already but it is what I do.

Given what you have written. You will be there more quickly than you imagine.

Then, as I did, you will have an off day and loose more than you ever imagined you would have bet. (Maybe not, you seem a bit more reasonable than I am about this. 🙂 ) Then you go home, work what the problem was on the table, fix it and get it back. Or, not work it out and get a private again. Feel like an idiot as Dom sees the problem in about 3 throws. Fixes it and, you are on your way again.

Then you have to get what you lost back plus the private. Happens faster than you can think if you bet the usual way. However, even I usually bet a bit lower until I get the confidence back and then take off like a rocket again.

If you play golf, you can understand that.

Speaking of golf.

I never understood guys who bet big money on their games. Since learning GTC and pressing up to having $5000+ out there on one number and loosing it on a stupid mistake with my throw — because I got distracted by the money — as well as winning quite big when I did my throw exactly right (hit that hard way with big money on the number) I now understand the satisfaction it brings when you win as well as the annoyance with yourself when you win.

Oh, the first time they put purple chips on my number, it freaked me out and I 7ed two rolls later as my mind was on the money rather than the my toss. Bought a bunch of purple and orange chips and practiced betting up with them at home. If you are not practicing with chips at home you are making a mistake. Now I feel funny not betting with the big colors. But, my bank roll is not there… yet.

You know that old curse — "May you live in interesting times." For those not familiar, it is a curse because nothing holds your interest like a life threatening situation. Well, press up your bets and the game becomes "interesting." Great feeling win or loose because, for those in a bit more control of their mind, it forces you into present time like nothing else. For those not is so good control of their minds it scares them more than you can imagine.

Keep investing in your game and you will find it more and more fun.

Having more fun than I have had in a decade,
JJJ

Posted by: Mr Finesse on November 19, 2015, 1:00 pm

Thanks Jesse, great topic.

Keep up with your practice, it is paying off.

Posted by: JesJac on November 19, 2015, 4:03 pm

Thank you Mr. Finesse and Dom and all the instructors.

Oh, Dom talked about throwing into a bowl and had me do it. I practiced that for hours at home.

On a private with Dom he fixed this small thing (obviously not a "small" thing but one might think so) I corrected it and threw for long enough that when I hit seven he said, "Thank god" and quickly moved to the throne room. 🙂

If you are not regularly taking advantage of these guys and their abilities to teach you are making a mistake.

After Dom has me tossing into a bowl, Mr. Finesse talked about putting two bowls together and having one die land in each. I thought he was nuts. BUT, after one of the sessions — it was not a tune up but something he showed me about my throw one of the times I was throwing at a practice table with him watching — I tried it out. Son of a b… When I did exactly what he said and, if the bowls were lined up with my throw axis (the line of my arm swing) one die went into each bowl.

Drove me crazy. Funny thing is when I tried to see the dice land one in each bowl I could not do it. Not looking I could. So, it taught me that even the smallest turn of my body make my toss off line.

Eager as hell for the next live and what I might learn at the advanced.

JJJ

Posted by: Carey1001 on November 28, 2015, 5:49 pm

cant express success and enjoyment better than that.lots of luck

First I want to say that anyone who has done a seminar and not signed for a tune-up with Mr. Finesse on Friday before is being silly.
