\nJust returned from a trip to Vegas and wanted to say I had my first big roll. I held the dice for forty five minutes. I started out with two sevens and an eleven and then didn’t see another seven till the end of the entire roll. I play the Big Skinny with the variation of double dipping the six and eight from the beginning of the roll. I up a unit each time I hit. I’ve never had a roll like that where I did all come betting and never had to take it down. I did a lot of repeaters and only four numbers to the fire bet. No matter, nobody was on the fire. I was exhausted after the roll and I could tell my throw was starting to deteriorate towards the end. I followed the GTC protocol. The pit boss thanked me for taking care of his crew and being such a good customer. The whole trip I only had one throw not hit the back wall. That’s because I’m no longer babying it. It was a great confidence builder and now I have to have a little better betting strategy for any roll that goes over thirty. I could of had a little more money out there. I did triple my buy in. All in all, I was very satisfied. I did not experience any heat the entire trip and had no problem with the shakes. I still want to develop a little more comfort at the tables but I am confident that will come with more trips. I am seeing the dice much more clearly and self correcting more successfully. Of course, I did have my share of short rolls and ups and downs but it was good to understand what that feels like to have a big one of my own.<\/p>\n

Thanks to all the instructors and fellow dice lovers. It was definitely a different feeling as it developed. I know that all that grip practice is where the big difference was made in my throw. Also knowing where my target was and hitting it. There is also a time when payouts are made, that I had to learn to go someplace else in my head. No distractions. I set my pace and stuck with it. I do appreciate the kind words and support.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\tNever look back at the money that could have been made by you during a roll like that. Remember that the shooter that practices dice control will never make as much money on his or her roll as others at the table. <\/p>\n

\tWhy you may ask …. it is because for us it becomes "The Roll" that is important to us. Yes, the money is nice, but it does become the roll.<\/p>\n
