Sandtrap gave his spot to Mr. Finesse, who started off with rolls of 5, 16, and 17, and then struggled the rest of the morning. I was very erratic, but I, myself, made money even on my short rolls. (profitable shoirt rolls has been discussed on another thread.) My rolls were 5, 8, 21, 6, 9, 28 (took six rolls of 7’s and yo’s to establish the first point, which I often do), and finally a 4. At this point we decided to grab a bite to eat.

When we tried to get on the table for the second session, (Jack had joined us), the table was empty with the exception of an elderly man at SL1. When the dice went around to him, he passed the dice, and Sandra decided to ask him if he would switch with me since I wanted to shoot but couldn’t reach the back wall where I was. “Where do you want me to go?” he asked. She pointed to the hook, and he went over there. Sandtrap sidled over to SL1, where he really struggled, and I took my position at SL2. My first roll was a 16. The man made nice money, and thanked me. I thanked him for moving. My next rolls were 7, 2, 21, and 11. Mr. Finesse took my spot, and had rolls of 13, 4, and 8, making money on his rolls. In the meantime, the elderly gentleman was talking with Sandra and me, and told us three hilarious jokes. I then told them at dinner, and we were all laughing out of control. (*Jokes are at the end of the report for those who wish to read them, but they were much funnier the way the elderly man told them.)

After dinner, Mr. Finesse had rolls of 13, 16, and 13. We saw Rob and Kay, who were just leaving the table, and Rob told us he had had a nice 31 roll. And so to bed.

Friday we were all up early, and the six of us got on an empty table. Jack, at SR1, had rolls of 6,3,3, and then 21 and 34. Mr. Finesse at SL1 rolled a 4, 8, 7, and 16. I rolled a 15, 8, 8, and then Sandtrap had rolls of 3, 8, and 8. Rob had a roll of 10. Money was again made on our own short rolls, and we all went to breakfast. After breakfast, only I had average rolls of 13, 10, and 10. The table filled up, and it was taking too long for the dice to come around. Sandtrap, Jack and I went to Pai Gow, Bob went to make phone calls, and Sandra went to rest.

After dinner, Sandtrap had rolls of 9 and 14. Hard9 joined us and rolled a nice 22. The hit of the evening was Jack, with rolls of 13, 4, and then bam, a beautiful 54! With that, we took our profits and retired for the night.

Saturday morning, the table was full of young drunks, but Sandtrap and I managed to get on. Slowly, Jack, Don, and Sandra and Mr. Finesse in the hook joined us; later Rob and Kay arrived, and now Cliff joined the group, so as the young drunks left, we now had 9 GTC on the table with our favorite female floor supervisor who always keeps the players laughing. Sandtrap’s rolls were 5, 14, 15, and Jack had rolls of 20, 14, and 4. Hard9 took my spot, and had warm-up 4, and then a beautiful 44 roll. Rob took Sandtrap’s spot, and rolled a 14, 17, and 7. Jack left for home, Rob and Kay decided to stay at the table, and it was then time for breakfast for the rest of us.

The afternoon session Cliff rolled a 10, 10, 7, and 5. My rolls were 2, 6, 20, and 16. Sandtrap couldn’t do much and decided to quit. We then had a nice Asian lunch. Sandtrap and I were supposed to see the ABBA concert, but found out we didn’t have tickets. We were actually staying at a motel since we couldn’t get a room for Saturday, as were Hard9 and Cliff. Sandra was going to hang with them for awhile and then go home, but we deliberated for awhile, and then decided to leave for home.

Although the sessions were very much up and down, we had a lot of fun, as usual, laughing a lot, and reminding ourselves why we never play on Saturdays with all the excruciating noise and young drunks.

*Jokes:
1) A man riding on the New York subway got jostled heavily by another man. As they were exiting the subway the first man realized he was missing his wallet, and grabbed the other by his collar, shouting for him to stop. Of course, he didn’t stop, and the man went to the cashier to ask the police to try to find the thief. They couldn’t, and the man called his wife saying, “You will never guess what happened to me.”

“You forgot your wallet at home!” she replied.

2) A mother superior was very ill in her convent, and had taken to her bed. No one knew what to do for her, so a priest suggested she be given a drink of whiskey. “Oh no, she never drinks,” was the reply by a nun. “Well then, put it in her milk. She’ll never know.” So they did that, and then asked her how she felt.

Her reply was, “I feel a little better, but do NOT sell that cow!”

3) On an island there was a teacher teaching English to the natives. As they went for a walk, he would point to things, say them in English, and the class would repeat the words: Bird, Bird, tree, tree, etc. Then the teacher saw a man on top of a woman, and he didn’t quite know what to say, so he said, “Man riding bike.” One of the students then took his bow and arrow, and shot the man on top. “Why did you do that?” the teacher asked.

 “Man riding MY bike!”

That’s all folks.

Goddess 😀 😆

Replies:

Posted by: Mr Finesse on August 20, 2015, 10:29 am

Great trip report again. Great to get some fresh ocean air on the multiple trips from one end to the other and EATING OUTSIDE (inside joke). It was great to meet up with the family and shoot together.
