\nHas any body hit the fire on second roller ??
\n\tBy this I mean that one player started the roll but do to no money left or bath room break gave up dice . He could have rolled some crap numbers to loose BR while still holding the dice or just gave up after those crap numbers keep coming up .
\n\tI once took over a roll that a guy was not fast at making his bet . But that was on a machine . He was on roll 21 when this happened and I ended the roll on roll 42 go Fig. That was vary STRANGE I thought .
\n\tAlso have another question .
\n\tIf you have a fire bet and you are rolling and they say you can no longer roll do you get your fire bet back ?
\n\tI have seen were players have run out of money when rolling and had to give up the dice or just walked away from table do to crap numbers .
\n\tI still have a BAD habit of betting the world on come out rolls .Just because I do throw a lot of crap around . \ud83d\ude42 \ud83d\ude42
\n\tI never press the world but have seen some that have on one or more of my rolls and make some money .Mostly they are high horn betters .Or they are see a crap bet a crap player .
\n\tThis is a fun game don’t we just love it ?
\n\tThis next trip I am only rolling for one day in Vegas so I am going to try the fire bet out .
\n\tMaybe give a trip report when get back . Win or loose I hope to have FUN .
\n\tGoing with another couple for first time in long time .I will be the only craps player tho .

Finisher, I had a situation happen where a random roller made a point of 10 and then passed the dice. I was the next shooter but did not have the fire on that roller. They said I could not put up a fire bet on me since I did not start the roll. I proceeded to hit the five fire and could not collect. Pissed, but could do nothing about it. Has that happened to anyone or was I bamboozled by the pit boss. Professor<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The facts that they gave you are correct.<\/p>\n

\tWhen someone passes the dice for what ever reason and someone else takes over the hand you can not add anything to the fire bet, unless a point has yet to be established.<\/p>\n

\tNow it is kind of a nice though because you get a second chance right back with the dice after you seven out on the first turn.<\/p>\n

\tCorrect you get your turn right afterwards<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Brothelman, I have had the dice passed to me with a point established. If I do not make that point I get a turn with the dice. HOWEVER if I make the point established by the roller who passed the dice to me, I now set a point and that is my turn with the dice and when I seven out my turn is over. <\/p>\n

\tI do believe that is correct. Anyone on the board know differently?<\/p>\n

Maybe it is one of those things that changes by location? I have had the same experience Brothelman has had but I have only played in Nevada. <\/p>\n

\tI have only had it happen once to me. When the turn that was started by a different dice shooter and then passed to me was over then I got my own turn with the dice.<\/p>\n

\tMaybe different houses have different rules for this or it may just depend on which box person is running the game at the time?<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I have had this happen to me a couple of times. I always got my turn after I finished someone else’s roll – usually finishing a DP roll after he has made a couple of points.<\/p>\n

\tThe only time I did not get a second turn with the dice was when some young kid bought in for $20 and lost his first two come-out rolls ($10 table) and did not want to loose anymore money. I was told because a point was never established I was not finishing his roll.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Colorado rules regarding someone taking over the dice are vague. I believe that house rules would apply here. I will collect several different house rules and report in a future post. Hopefully they will have some this coming weekend as they are required by law to have them available to any player requesting them.<\/p>\n

\tOne casino where I was at the table gave the new thrower his own turn after 7’ing out on the previous players turn. This was the only time this has occurred
