It would be a pleasure to waste your time!

Here are a few of the groups you better start working on:

+ Black voters. Obama has nowhere to go but down among this group. His endorsement of gay marriage has alienated many black church-going Christians. He may get 88% of their vote instead of the 96% he got in 2008. This is not good news for Obama.

+ Hispanic voters. Obama has nowhere to go but down among this group. If Romney picks Rubio as his VP running-mate the GOP may pick up an extra 10% to 15% of Hispanic voters (plus lock down Florida). This is not good news for Obama.

+ Jewish voters. Obama has been weak in his support of Israel. Many Jewish voters and big donors are angry and disappointed. I predict Obama’s Jewish support drops from 78% in 2008 to the low 60’s. This is not good news for Obama.

+ Youth voters. Obama’s biggest and most enthusiastic believers from 4 years ago have graduated into a job market from hell. Young people are disillusioned, frightened, and broke- a bad combination. The enthusiasm is long gone. Turnout will be much lower among young voters, as will actual voting percentages. This not good news for Obama.

+ Catholic voters. Obama won a majority of Catholics in 2008. That won’t happen again. Out of desperation to please women, Obama went to war with the Catholic Church over contraception. Now he is being sued by the Catholic Church. Majority lost. This is not good news for Obama.

+ Small Business owners. Obama pursues a war on capitalism and demonizes anyone who owns a business. Obama supports unions over the private sector and is overwhelming the economy with spending and debt. Small business owners create jobs and have to fight Obama for borrowed money at the banks. This is not good news for Obama.

+ Blue collar working class whites. Do I need to say a thing? White working class voters are about as happy with Obama as Boston Red Sox fans feel about the New York Yankees. This is not good news for Obama.

+ Suburban moms. The issue isn’t contraception…it’s having a job to pay for contraception. Obama’s economy frightens these moms. They are worried about putting food on the table. They fear for their children’s future. This is not good news for Obama.

+ Military Veterans. McCain won this group by 10 points. Romney is winning by 24 points. The more our military vets got to see of Obama, the more they disliked him. This is not good news for Obama.

Franken, add it up. Does anyone feel that a vote for Obama makes their job more secure?

My gut instincts and common sense tell me this will be a historic landslide and a world-class repudiation of Obama’s radical and risky socialist-liberal agenda. It’s Reagan-Carter all over again.

Franken, I doubt you have read this far but if you have I can see you making up lies to refute every point above. Remember, figures don’t lie, but liers figure. We know what you do with facts.

One last thing- Obama is living proof familiarity breeds contempt.
😆 😆 😆 Set44

Posted by: Guest on June 22, 2012, 2:52 am

Ok, that’s all I can stand I can’t stands no more. I really hate how conservatives can’t address people with opinions that differ from theirs with respect. It really saddens me that decent people can’t talk about issues without saying hurtful words. Our forefathers created a government for this great nation that must work together to get laws and policies passed. It amazes me how much has changed since a President Obama took office. All of a sudden people act like they can’t treat people as they would like to be treated. Remember the Golden Rule? I don’t mind people having a different opinion then mine, heck I relish it. I might learn something by listening to others point of view.

Yet, here in this forum the people that post in here seem to not be able to do anything but spit on others who opinions and ideas differ from their own. Will I’m sure that what I have to say won’t be read or understood by most that post in this section because you won’t allow yourself to think outside your box – to bad. However, I’m going to post this and again try to refrain from commenting again because I know most won’t even read this with an open mind. I’ve seen the post about not compromising. Good thing our forefathers didn’t think like that otherwise there is no telling what our Constitution or Bill of Rights might look like. I just couldn’t let your comments about different voting groups go by without commenting. It upsets me when people in this forum post comments without one fact just a bunch of opinions. So I thought I would do both post some of my opinions and sprinkle in a few facts. So here goes nothing.

Black voters. He is far – far away from losing the black vote over his stand for gay individuals. Yes, some will stay away from the poll just as there are some other idiots who don’t know how dangerous a Romney administration will be for the blue collar working class folks.

Hispanic voters. President Obama is so far ahead of Romney when it comes to the Hispanic vote I can’t believe you would even mention them. His stand on the Dream Act almost guarantees their vote. If you had the opportunity to vote for a man who will ensure your children will have the opportunity to stay in our country rather than worry about being “self-deported” (Romney’s stupid term) I think you would choose the ladder.

Jewish voters. Yes, some Jewish-Americans are upset with him this is true, however, when you think about a Romney administration that wants to keep war going on in the middle east forever, versus an individual encouraging the changes occuring in the middle east. I think you will choose the President Obama.

Youth voters. Yes, they too don’t believe he has done all he could, however, they know that it is the Republicans senators that want to increase the interest rates on their loans. They know that it is President Obama that is encouraging Congress to keep they interest rates low. A President Romney thinks they should go to their parents which is stupid. If the parents had the money the kids wouldn’t need the loans. They don’t blame the President for the economy they see what the Republicans are doing in Congress – they are educated and can comprehend what is happening on the hill. Yes, they need jobs, but with a Romney administration that would keep giving tax breaks to the wealthy and passing on extra fees and tax increases for the worker bees. Remember they are education now.

Catholic voters. President Obama didn’t take on the Catholic church. The administration consulted the church prior to making the deal. The administration isn’t doing anymore than a Gov. Romney did with Romney care and the Catholic church there didn’t complain. In fact, in several other states the Catholic church accepted the same policy, but I wonder why when a President Obama creates the same policy they decide there’s a problem. As far as most Catholics are concerned, most use contraceptions (like most families). I didn’t hear or see a bunch of Catholic people flocking to the streets in protest of contraceptions. I would hate to think that you would want the government or your church forcing you or any other American that you must have as many children as your wife, girlfriend or one night stand can have. I don’t know about you, but I am old enough to make that decision for myself.

Small Business owners. The President didn’t pursue a war on capitalism – that’s ridiculous. As far as your comment about the President standing up for unions over the private sector – WHERE’S YOUR FACTS. I’ve been watching this section of the website for quite some time and I have noticed that just about everyone that post here never post facts, just bias comments (and I’m being kind by that statement). The President’s administration has created several bills to assist small businesses with loans and tax breaks since the private sectors and banks are hoarding 2 trillion dollars. So your lies don’t hold up to the facts.

Blue collar working class whites. Gee really, we have to bring race into this – really? I’m truly disappointed by your statement. I’m not even going to dignify your comment by belittling you on how ignorant it sounded. Oops guess I couldn’t help myself. White, black, asian, Hispanic or any other ethnic group may think that the President isn’t doing enough, but I say to them they should look no further than their Congressperson. When they vote if they have an opportunity to vote them out of office I say throw all the bums out. We need term limits for all of them just like the Presidency.

Suburban moms. Believe it or not suburban moms need equal pay for an equal days work. The first bill the President signed into law is the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. Moms are concerned with the rising cost of health care and Obama Care (aka Romney Care) believe it or not will allow them to keep their children insured. Moms are worried about keeping food on the table you are finally right about something. However, it is a Republican Congress that wants to take away the unemployment and food stamp assistance that some of those same suburban moms need to keep food in their children stomach and a roof over their heads. A president Romney thinks they should go live with their parents or depend on the charity of their churches and communities. He wouldn’t even say he supports the Fair Pay Act and you think Suburban moms think he’s looking out for them?

Military Veterans. Why are you bringing up McCain? In case you didn’t know, he is not running in this race. Senator McCain was a Veteran and most of us love the man and honor his sacrifice for our country. But President Obama is running against Romney who when he had the opportunity to serve – he took no less than 1, 2, 3 – 4 deferments. Two of which were after college. He has five – count them 1, 2, 3, 4 – 5 sons none of them even thought about serving our great country. Now let’s not forget President Obama he too could have served, however, he didn’t get 4 deferments to avoid service then run for office talking about keeping young men and women at war as Romney is doing. And unlike President Bush/Cheney when President Obama had the opportunity to take out Bin Laden – HE DID!!!! He is more of a hawk then the last two Presidents (I really respect Bush 41). As a military veteran and an individual that is still working with military personal I can honestly tell you that like most Americans, opinion of individuals in the military differ as to whether they will vote for him or Romney.

Now I don’t expect anyone to respond with respect or with a few facts – just hateful comments so I won’t bother to respond back so have at it.

However, if you are willing to have a decent discussion about the problems our country face and ways we can fix them then I will be more than pleased to join the discussion. Now let’s see how many can rise to the occasion. 🙂

Devilique

Posted by: Stephen C on June 22, 2012, 3:07 am

Ah hell, another one.

Posted by: Guest on June 22, 2012, 3:28 am

Yes, another one – American 😀

Posted by: Stephen C on June 22, 2012, 11:18 am

To quote a great line form a classic movie, Frankly my dear I don’t a damn. For far too long we {the voting public} have had to chose or elect whoever we feel is the best of the worst.

2. All politicians fall into the worst category. They never do anything in the best interest of the country and their primary consideration is always themselves and their political careers.

3. All PAC’s and Special interest political groups should be illegal. {their political agenda’s are self centered, in direct conflict with what is best for the USA and most of us citizens.}

4. The US Government is far too large and should be reduced in size by 50%.

5. All special interest expenditures authorized by congress {past and future} should be submitted for EVERYONE to vote on, I expect a lot of them would be discontinued or not approved.

6. Pork Barrel Funding should be illegal, if a bill is submitted and voted on it should be for one purpose and NOT have any riders, add-in’s, or attachments.

Posted by: Guest on June 23, 2012, 3:06 am

"Stephen C" wrote: To quote a great line form a classic movie, Frankly my dear I don’t a damn. I don’t mind a healthy debate as long as it is civil.
As far as Stephen C’s comment about racism, I did not call anyone racist I just said race should not be brought into the issue – check my post. Now, to address your comment about Obama showing a weakness in the black vote there is no doubt that he has lost some black votes as well as votes from several other voting blocks. He has been President for almost four years and some people are disillusioned with him at this time. He hasn’t fulfilled all the promises he made while he was campaigning in ’08. Now name me one President in the history of this country that fulfilled every campaign promise they made. If you care to learn about some of the things the President has done since he came into office check out the following link http://whatthefuckhasobamadonesofar.com/. It will probably give you more ammunition for disagreement with the President about.

Now since I answered your question please answer mine. Why would Hispanics vote for Governor Romney when he is threatening to deport most of them? I do not believe anyone truly believes he will even try to keep any of his promises other than to try and bring the tax rate down to 15% for the rich and businesses. Governor Romney has weakness as well, particularly with the Hispanic vote. Current polls show him with less than a third of the Hispanic vote and it is widely believed that he cannot win the Presidency with those numbers. He panders to everyone and will tell you and me whatever he believes we want to hear in order to get our vote.

The President’s biggest problem is the economy. I truly believe if the economy was in a better place people would fill better about their plight and he would breeze to reelection. Although there are many people like yourself who don’t like his politics, most believe he is a loving father and spouse who loves his country and wants what is best for American. You may not believe he knows how to get this country back to where it was before President Bush took us down this dark road, however, I hope you do not believe the President has not tried to get us there. He has proposed several pieces of legislation aimed at job creation, but some in Congress don’t want to see him succeed. I find their actions to be reprehensible. We can cut federal spending to the bone. We can cut many different social programs, military spending and federal aide to other countries and it still would not be enough to stop us from borrowing hundreds of billions every year.

This country needs to get people back to work. Working people spend money. They create tax revenue for our government’s coffers. Yet, week after week we watch Congress members making $174k a year spend 9 of the past 26 weeks on vacation back in their districts instead of legislating methods for getting people back to work. We need to throw the bums out and get new legislators in office that care more about our country than they care about getting reelected or choosing a political side.

I have joined the Obama campaign.
