\nSorry to be so long is putting this together but you will see why we are late with this posting.<\/p>\n
\tGoing to put this together with the very ugly first, as it happened after we returned home. After getting off the plane on Tuesday old Doc was feeling a little under the weather. By Wed really feeling pretty bad with temperature of 102.4 with upset stomach and "stuff" coming out of both ends of the old body. So bad that we went to an emergency room that has a 10 bed hospital attached. It is a part of one of the major hospital chains in central Texas. Turned out to be a great place to recover.<\/p>\n
\tFirst question I was asked "Have you been to West Aftica?" Told them no. Because some medical terms will be used here spelling does not count. Had a Sonagram done and it revealed I had no problem with the gall bladder or the appendex. Next a Cat Skan which revealed that because of the hell my intestional trac was going through I had a twisted spot in my small intestine (or kink) causing a blockage so nothing could go through. I was pretty miserable. Two courses of possible action—1 surgery, 2 insert a tube through my nose down into my stomach and attach it to a pump to clean out my stomach and keep it out. This allows the intestine to relax and the "kink" to come out. Had the tube for about 18 hours. Tube removed. Very miserable but better than surgery. After 2 nights was released. Rose was a real trooper as whe stayed with me the whole time. <\/p>\n
\tNowto the fun stuff. After the post trip trama, I don’t really remember a lot of details only a geneal picture so that will be what will be posted. Prior to the class we arrived late Tuesday witl very litle action. On Wed we ran into a lot of instructors and former students and really had a lot of fun with them. However only a couple of decent and short rolls by the GTC players and chicken feeders. Most making the 5 count and then a 7 out. We were down a little but not much. <\/p>\n
\tThursday would have very little action as we spend most of the day setting up the class rooms. Fun to be with friends. Friday was the open house and Meet and Greet. If you miss these activities you should really make it a point to come to these 2 activities as the GTC family could not be more enjoyable and entertaining. Played a little both days but were down a little more. <\/p>\n
\tSat and Sun was the class all day both days. They are most tiring and usually very little play in the casino. Again no really long rolls just single digit and a few in the teens or low twenty’s. The type of play where you have three or 4 numbers working and you get 2 or 3 hits and lose a little. Once again we were down a little more.<\/p>\n
\tMonday would be no different with a few in the teens by us or other GTC people. I know that some good rolls took place from time to time but we were not at those tables. Left early on Tuesday where the opening paragraph of this post tells what happened.<\/p>\n
\tWe were able to break away from the tables of couple of times so that Rose could do a little fabric shopping for the purse making business she has started. She if the ultimate bargain shopping and we went from 2 suit cases checked to 1 suit cases and 2 boxes full of fabric. Thanks to Southwest we could check 2 tiems each for free. <\/p>\n
\tWe came back a small loser. The 5 count saved us a bundle. We lost less that we made in AC and the other times we won earlier in the year. We are well bankrolled for our betting level so the varience did not come close to killing us. Hope to have one more trip this year as well as one scheduled for January. <\/p>\n
\tWe look forward to 2015 and seeing all of our old GTC friends and making new ones.<\/p>\n
