The $43,000 payout would come to a bettor who rolled the winnings on each wager into the next game, Bell said.<\/p>\n<p>\tIt was a Major League Baseball postseason-record eighth straight victory for Kansas City, which completed a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels in the division series after taking a one-game playoff against the Oakland A\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Royals will face either the San Francisco Giants or St. Louis Cardinals in the best-of-seven World Series, which begins Oct. 21 in Kansas City. The Giants can win the National League pennant with a victory tonight at home.<\/p>\n<p>\tBefore the season, the Royals were 35-1 to win the World Series, according to Pregame.com.
