{"id":7934,"date":"2014-08-29T16:28:55","date_gmt":"2014-08-29T16:28:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumarchives.tmsites.net\/index.php\/2014\/08\/29\/police-kids-left-in-car-outside-hialeah-park-casino-while-parents-were-inside\/"},"modified":"2014-08-29T16:28:55","modified_gmt":"2014-08-29T16:28:55","slug":"police-kids-left-in-car-outside-hialeah-park-casino-while-parents-were-inside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumarchives.tmsites.net\/index.php\/2014\/08\/29\/police-kids-left-in-car-outside-hialeah-park-casino-while-parents-were-inside\/","title":{"rendered":"Police: Kids Left in Car Outside Hialeah Park Casino While Parents Were Inside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- Original Post Content --><br \/>\nVideo on Site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/Kids-Reportedly-Left-in-Car-Outside-Hialeah-Park-Casino-272996041.html\">http:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/Kids-Reportedly-Left-in-Car-Outside-Hialeah-Park-Casino-272996041.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\tPolice are investigating after two young children were left inside a car outside a Hialeah casino while their parents were inside early Thursday.<br \/>\n\tThe children, ages four and one, were found in a car in the parking lot of the Hialeah Park Casino at 2200 E. 4th Avenue, said Hialeah Police spokesman Carl Zogby.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe kids were spotted by casino employees in the unattended car just after midnight, Zogby said<\/p>\n<p>\t&quot;The kids were subject to anything happening to them; they could&#8217;ve walked out of the car or someone could&#8217;ve come in, who knows what could&#8217;ve happened,&quot; Zogby said.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe parents, Tyrell Johnson and his girlfriend, Josephine Laidler, were both charged with child neglect, Zogby said.<\/p>\n<p>\tFootage showed the man and woman being detained by police at the scene and the two young children playing with officers.<br \/>\n\tHialeah Police and the Department of Children and Families are investigating the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe children were put into the custody of their grandparents by a family court judge Thursday afternoon.
