\t‘No, Daddy.
\n\tShe’s upstairs in the bedroom with Uncle Paul.’<\/p>\n
\n\tAfter a brief pause,<\/p>\n
\tDaddy says,<\/p>\n
\t‘But honey, you haven’t got an Uncle Paul.’<\/p>\n
\t‘Oh, yes I do, and he’s upstairs in the room with Mommy,
\n\tright now.’<\/p>\n
\n\tBrief Pause.<\/p>\n
\t‘Uh, okay then, this is what I want you to do.
\n\tPut the phone down on the table, run upstairs,
\n\tknock on the bedroom door and shout to Mommy
\n\tthat Daddy’s car just pulled into the driveway.’<\/p>\n
\t‘Okay, Daddy, just a minute.’<\/p>\n
\n\tA few minutes later
\n\tThe little girl comes back to the phone.<\/p>\n
\t‘I did it, Daddy.’<\/p>\n
\t‘And what happened, honey?’<\/p>\n
\n\t‘Well, Mommy got all scared, jumped out of bed with no clothes
\n\ton and ran around screaming.<\/p>\n
\n\tThen, she tripped over the rug, hit her head on the dresser
\n\tand now she isn’t moving at all!’<\/p>\n
\n\t‘Oh, my God!!! What about your Uncle Paul?’<\/p>\n
\n\t‘He jumped out of the bed with no clothes on, too.
\n\tHe was all scared and he jumped out of the back window
\n\tand into the swimming pool.
\n\tBut I guess he didn’t know that you took out the water
\n\tlast week to clean it.
\n\tHe hit the bottom of the pool and I think he’s dead.’<\/p>\n

\n\tThen Daddy says,<\/p>\n
\n\t‘Swimming pool? …………<\/p>\n
