\nGrandma is eighty-eight years old and still drives her own car. She writes:<\/p>\n
\tDear Grand-daughter,<\/p>\n
\tThe other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a
\n\t‘Honk if you love Jesus’ bumper sticker ..<\/p>\n
\tI was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from
\n\ta thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer
\n\tmeeting.<\/p>\n
\tSo, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper.<\/p>\n
\tBoy, am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience that followed.<\/p>\n
\tI was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in
\n\tthought about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn’t notice that
\n\tthe light had changed.<\/p>\n
\tIt is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn’t
\n\thonked, I’d never have noticed. I found that lots of people love
\n\tJesus!<\/p>\n
\tWhile I was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like crazy,
\n\tand then he leaned out of his window and screamed, ‘For the love of
\n\tGod!’<\/p>\n
\t‘Go! Go! Go! Jesus Christ, GO!’ What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus!<\/p>\n
\tEveryone started honking!<\/p>\n
\tI just leaned out my window and started waving and smiling at all
\n\tthose loving people.<\/p>\n
\tI even honked my horn a few times to share in the love!<\/p>\n
\tThere must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him
\n\tyelling something about a sunny beach.<\/p>\n
\tI saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger
\n\tstuck up in the air.<\/p>\n
\tI asked my young teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant.<\/p>\n
\tHe said it was a Hawaiian good luck sign. Well, I have never met
\n\tanyone from Hawaii, so I leaned out the window and gave him the good
\n\tluck sign right back.<\/p>\n
\tMy grandson burst out laughing. Why even he was enjoying this
\n\treligious experience!!<\/p>\n
\tA couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that
\n\tthey got out of their cars and started walking towards me.<\/p>\n
\tI bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is
\n\twhen I noticed the light had changed.<\/p>\n
\tSo, grinning, I waved at all my brothers and sisters, and drove on
\n\tthrough the intersection.<\/p>\n
\tI noticed that I was the only car that got through the intersection
\n\tbefore the light changed again and felt kind of sad that I had to
\n\tleave them after all the love we had shared.<\/p>\n
\tSo I slowed the car down, leaned out the window and gave them all the
\n\tHawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away. Praise the Lord
\n\tfor such wonderful folks!!<\/p>\n
