\tGTC has a great series for teaching you the basic skills on how to become an Advantage Player in craps. The Primer and Refresher classes focus on your throwing skills and discuss basic betting practices, while the advance class teaches you how to \u201cPlay the game as an AP\u201d. (This is just my observations\/experience\/opinion). So you\u2019ve taken all the class, done some tune-ups etc. You have learned your Dice skills and you know you have an edge. What do you do next? <\/p>\n

\tYou have a great foundation (Thank you GTC). Do you want to be the best AP you can? Or are you happy where you\u2019re at. If you are happy, then don\u2019t bother reading any further. If you\u2019re not, you want more. You want to squeeze every penny of wins you can from the casinos. You want to be the best you can be. The time has come to buckle down and get to work. Yep, I said get to work. <\/p>\n

\tKeeping your shot sharp is time consuming but there is more to learn and gain. We\u2019re not talking about some system here. This isn\u2019t some TV commercial for a 19.95 product. We\u2019re talking about learning and understanding the game. So where do you start. There is no clear path on what to do. There is more but where to go? Without getting into to many details, I\u2019m going to share my path so far and you can use it or take your own.<\/p>\n

\tI focused on understanding the math of the game. Not just some but all the bets, even those feature bets. I learned the House Advantage on each bet and what my individual edge, if any, are on each. Since your edge varies with your abilities. This is an ongoing process.<\/p>\n

\tI worked\/working on understanding my bankroll and my betting within it. Risk of Ruin, Variance, and Kelly are just some of the areas I tackled. Designing and testing betting strategies; on paper, in practice and live play. This sounds simple but it’s a hugh area. <\/p>\n

\tThere\u2019s the Comp system, Security and Surveillance, Casino tolerances and much more that I have explored. <\/p>\n

\tThis is what I did\/doing after building my foundation. It\u2019s been an interesting journey so far. One I hope many of you will share in. I\u2019d like to hear what some of you have done.<\/p>\n

Nice post! There is an old saying that once you think you have mastered something, you haven’t!<\/p>\n

\tMastery of a technique is really never possible. There is always something to learn. Some of the thoughts that you listed are great examples of this. I am always fidgeting with something during my practice.<\/p>\n

\tAnother thing. just because you have taken all the courses does not mean that you can’t take one of them again. Like taking the refresher a second time before the advanced is a great thing and we found this to be just wonderful for all the students. And if you have taken the advanced course, why not take it again. <\/p>\n

I’d be interested to know what your SmartCraps scores are and if you are now able to use the radical betting styles in Cutting Edge Craps<\/em>. <\/p>\n

\tI really enjoyed this post and was hoping you would get more replies to it from Advanced players as I would have enjoyed reading other responses too.<\/p>\n

\tUnfortunately, I am not nearly advanced enough to answer your post so I will just say thank you for posting and good job. <\/p>\n

\tWe were at a Tune Up class together once and I remember your terrific shot and your great questions for Mr. Finesse so I am not surprised you are doing so well or being so thoughtful about your game! \ud83d\ude0e<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n\tI know you work very hard too. Any who’s serious about this takes the refresher\/tuneups, etc.<\/p>\n

\tAs for the post, I know there are some Advanced players out there and I was hoping some would share what they are doing and how they have progressed. I like to learn as much as I can. The better the knowledge, the better the decision. From what I can tell, you’re about ready for the advanced class. It’s a real eye openner. In my opinion, the primer\/refresher helps you tackle the shot. The advanced class helps you tackle the table. I guess you could say I’m trying to tackle the game. I may never master it, but I want to do my very best.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
