\nMy new book I Am a Card Counter: Inside the World of Advantage-Play Blackjack <\/em>has just been published. It is a no-holds barred description of my 25 years of advantage blackjack play (11 with my wife as my teammate).<\/p>\n

\tYes, there was a Golden Touch Blackjack team and yes I have some of the adventures I shared with Dom and Jerry "Stickman" in the book.<\/p>\n

\tI Am a Card Counter <\/em>also recounts the exciting times I had with my wife as a blackjack team. The bannings are in the book too — from the gentle tap on the shoulder to angry casino bosses nose-to-nose with me, to a gun jammed into my back.<\/p>\n

\tI am A Card Counter by Frank Scoblete<\/p>\n

\tThis is not an instructional book on how to count cards, although the appendix does contain some card counting basics.
\n\tThis is Mr. Scoblete’s account of his journey from a casino gambling neophyte to a skilled card counter.
\n\tAlong the way he meets some of the most well known gamblers of all time. The names are instantly recognizable to anyone that has an interest in gambling. He also is lucky enough to be mentored by relatively unknown card counting expert that was working as a clerk in a gambling book store.<\/p>\n

\tWritten in Mr. Scoblete’s light and entertaining style the book makes the reader feel like they are sitting at the blackjack table with him.<\/p>\n

\tHe describes a point in his life when he and his wife had to fly to Vegas several times a year to make money to pay tuition bills. That is really pressure.<\/p>\n

\tMr Scoblete also writes about the people he encountered in his gambling career from eccentric players to Casino employees that watch him as though the money in the rack belonged to them.<\/p>\n

\tIf you have ever tried counting cards or thought about it the accounts of his banning will be of particular interest to you.<\/p>\n
