\nLocal casino just installed a 10 ft craps table, never even new they made them that short..Made a trip down but could not get on the table..Would like to know if anyone has had any experience throwing on tables this length..Thx for any info<\/p>\n

\tI have never played on a 10 foot table but I am curious for a few more details. Do you sit or stand to play on this table? I know sometimes at what they call a Tub you sit on a stool and shoot and the Tubs are very small—-probably smaller than 10 feet though. Also, what kind of crew do they use on the 10 foot table? Is it just one dealer to run everything or a dealer and a stick person? Seems it would be too crowded for a normal 3 person crew plus a box person. Is there any flat part on the wall to toss the dice to or is it all curved around the whole circumference? I’m thinking if it does have a flat wall area and your shot is very soft that it might be playable.<\/p>\n

\tWill be interesting to hear if anyone has seen or played on a 10 footer. Hope you can get some answers instead of just curious questions like mine! \ud83d\ude06 Thanks for any more details if you know them.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

getagrip I was told they were getting a 10 ft table and i never knew there was a table that short..I heard that is was there so i took a trip down to take a peak. I had to look twice because of how small it was. I didnt get a chance to throw i was little stubborn and wanted sl1. To answer your questions it is the same size crew, and curve and back wall is the same also..from what i stepped off it is 6 ft. to the back wall.. not much bounce to the table from what i could see.. this casino has never given me heat about throw or asked me back up..i have been practicing from 6 ft and it is a little easier to control the dice.. i will be going back down in 2 weeks i will let you know how it goes….thx Homer<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I met a gentleman that worked for PARR in Las Vegas 6 years ago and he had a 10′ table in his living room. He had marked red tape on the rails for stick one on a 12′ table. This table was made for 2 dealers, stick and dealer that worked from the box position. We threw on that table for about 30 minutes then he said let’s try the 12′ table in the garage.<\/p>\n

\tThe 10 footer had a square wall about 14" wide and was quite playable. It sorta felt like a toy and a soft touch gave decent results. This table had felt rather than microfiber so it didn’t have a lot of bounce. You stood like most other craps tables. The bank was smaller and wider than most so the one dealer could easily reach the bets and the table was also a little narrower. The owner was a friend of a former GTC instructor, Howard Rock & Roller. It just so happened that evening we were playing at Sahara when the two of them came to the table. We made a lot of money that night. A surprising thing was that we won most on our own rolls and not theirs.<\/p>\n

\tMy son, MrE, and I had met Howard the previous October at the meet and greet. Someone told me he was great at R & R trivia, I nailed him on the first question. It made me feel terrific, mostly because I am lousy at rock and roll trivia.<\/p>\n

first, you would want sl2 because on the shorter table that is the position you practice from.<\/p>\n

\t2. it is very tuff to get the proper spin on the dice from that close to the wall so standing at 2 or 2.5 is the lick.<\/p>\n

\t3.sl2 is a dream, why because their is no box man standing next to you.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You will see 10 foot tables sometimes at the pools of casinos. I am trying to remember … I think it was the Man casino that had one at their pool a few years back<\/p>\n

If I remember correctly there were a few 10 footers in Mesquite the last time I stopped on my way to LV. Goldfinger could tell us where, he likes them for gathering gas money.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I played at Ellis Island (Behind Bally’s) about 5 years ago on a short table (10 foot or was it an 8 foot ?) with great results. I returned the next year and it had been replaced with a 14 foot table.<\/p>\n

The last cruise ship I was on had a 10′ table. Looked really odd. It took me about 1\/2 the trip to find the right spot and get my throw working.<\/p>\n
