\nin my play over the last month i found out one thing for sure, atleast for
\n\tme. It is better to play on a table that fits you, instead of trying to figure out
\n\thow to beat a table that does not.<\/p>\n

\tI had decent results on all tables that i could get over, my toss was more consistent
\n\tthan it was on a table that was to high. there i would have one decent toss and then one that
\n\twas awful and so on. For me a table that is to high is worse than a bouncy one.’<\/p>\n

\tI have decided not to take a craps class in 2014, instead i will travel to India, they have a
\n\tguy there that can make you 4 inches taller by hanging you by your feet and the tie two
\n\toxen to your arms and it is slow painful ordeal, but then you dont get 4 more inches by
\n\twatching tv….<\/p>\n

\tPS…. i have heard that if you keep growing for more than 4 hours you need to get some help<\/p>\n

Its not bad eating but drinking threw that straw is another thing .You really build up you core .
\n\tIf you don’t get the full 4 in. do you get a rebate ? Or is it prorated by the CM ?
\n\tIn the end I would just stay away from high tables seems a lot less work .

Here are some ideas that you might be able to use. For most all tables Doc is plenty tall but Rose is not. Here are some ideas we use or have seen used from time to time that seem to work pretty well. <\/p>\n

\t1. We have some soft rubber pads that we can carry in our suitcase that are about 1 1\/2 inches thick. Not much but it does help. Also the pad is very comfortable if you stand for a period of time.<\/p>\n

\t2. Have some shoes made with very think soles on the bottom to add some height. See Brothelman’s shoes for example.<\/p>\n

\t3. We have seen some GTC members who carry a hard sided brief case that can add anywhere from 4 or 5 inches to even more if needed.<\/p>\n

\t4 Doc built a small box with some 2X4’s and plywood–all from scrap lumber–to stand on. Covered the box with some heavy material and added a handle for easy transport. <\/p>\n

\tAll of these are easy to carry with you into the casino and stand on. I have never seen anyone denied the ability to use the above items. All of these items–expect the shoes–have a handle so are east to transport. Remember if you are at a table that is the correct height you can always push the item under the table and carry to the next table\/casino where you need a little height assistant.<\/p>\n

\tJust a few ideas. Others probably have some other suggestions.<\/p>\n

I carry a soft lap-top case filled with Styrofoam. This gives me about 4 inches additional height when I stand on it and it also gives me a place to store my cigars so I don’t have to carry them in my pocket.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

i have 3.5" shoes, but still not enough on some tables as they seem
\n\tto get high and higher. Bman and i played at one casino where i could
\n\tget over fine and my throw looked like it should, then on another at P
\n\twhere i had to really step up i cant be consistent from one roll to
\n\tanother<\/p>\n

Gman Do you practice with your shoes on all the time ? That could be a factor also .I feel more comfortable in ever day shoes . I have seen Bmans shoes and every body talks about them . (DEALERS ) I like his little practice rig that he made for travel .I no longer play at casinos that I can not reach the come bets .

Just from my own experience, it also makes a difference if rails are high but also if the rails are wider than normal. I can deal with one or the other with my short height but not both. If they meet both criteria then I just don’t play at those as my comfort is compromised and my consistency.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I’m 5’7" on a good day with a 33" sleeve length so table\/rail height makes a big difference to me. I did the so called elevators which are basically women’s high heels built into a man’s looking shoe so are on your toes with a heel support. Gives me about a three inch lift at most. Better than nothing but I think a 4-5 inch lift off of a flat surface is the way to go. And I had never considered the width of the rail limiting your reach and screwing with your arm swing until I read getagrip’s comment – thanks. Thinking the styrofoam or one of the new honeycomb wood products would make a good lift box.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One time I was at a table were a fellow brought a backpack filled with telephone books to the table. He kept it under the table until it was his time to throw. He would pull it out, stand on it and throw the numbered cubes. I believe he was gaining about 5 inches in height. \ud83d\ude1b Set44<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

There are dealers in Laughlin that use plat forms at stick because the tables are long .Also have seen a player reach under table to use one but did not know if it was his or the casinos .
