Menino have agreed on a deal that will allow for a gambling resort proposal to move toward a referendum vote.<br \/>\n\tSuffolk Downs is competing for the sole Greater Boston resort casino license with Steve Wynn and with a Foxwoods project in Milford.<\/p>\n<p>\tAs a famous race track, the landmark has held strong significance for the East Boston neighborhood.
