{"id":6423,"date":"2013-10-29T18:24:16","date_gmt":"2013-10-29T18:24:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumarchives.tmsites.net\/index.php\/2013\/10\/29\/casino-montelago-at-lake-las-vegas-closes-over-lease-issues\/"},"modified":"2013-10-29T18:24:16","modified_gmt":"2013-10-29T18:24:16","slug":"casino-montelago-at-lake-las-vegas-closes-over-lease-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumarchives.tmsites.net\/index.php\/2013\/10\/29\/casino-montelago-at-lake-las-vegas-closes-over-lease-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"Casino MonteLago at Lake Las Vegas closes over lease issues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- Original Post Content --><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i42.tinypic.com\/rstpv9.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n\tPeople browse the streets of MonteLago Village during the grand reopening of Casino MonteLago at Lake Las Vegas on Thursday, May 26, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>\tFor the second time in three and a half years, Casino MonteLago is shutting its doors.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tManagement announced that the small gambling spot, part of the lavish but financially plagued Lake Las Vegas master-planned community in Henderson, \u201csuspended operations today pending resolution of lease issues with the property owners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t\u201cWe hope that the owners of the casino find a way to support its re-opening soon,\u201d General Manager Marcus Suan said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe casino initially closed in March 2010, a victim of the recession, but it re-opened in May 2011 to throngs of customers and a burst of fireworks.<\/p>\n<p>\tKam Sang Co. of Southern California bought the casino and adjacent hotel, Ravella at Lake Las Vegas, last November for about $47 million.
