\nI want to thank Dom, Nick and Daryl for the help with the tune up
\n\tfriday. Three of the wisconsin guys took the tune up and we needed it.<\/p>\n

\tWe have all put in the work, but we were doing a number of things wrong.
\n\tAnd when things go wrong, we at GTC can turn to the best dice controllers
\n\tin the country for help…. that is amazing when you think about it.<\/p>\n

\tDom offered a number of suggestions, and many of you know, when Dom
\n\toffers a suggestion you can understand his point right away..<\/p>\n

\tWe had some things to work on in our throws, but we also had been playing
\n\ta very defensive kind of craps, not one that would reflect the hours of practice
\n\twe had all put in.<\/p>\n

\tTonight one of the local casino’s had benefit for home less vets and some of
\n\tmy friends have a truly excellent band so we attended the concert and gave a
\n\tnice donation from our lions club.<\/p>\n

\tAfter i hit the table for a short time. My wife would tell me if you are going to
\n\tpay for classes from the best guys in the country, you may as well listen to them.<\/p>\n

\ti took some of the pointers Dom laid out and i bet the way he suggested.<\/p>\n

\tI used the come bet, i only threw 4 hands, a 7, 14,11,13 and i hit repeaters
\n\tsometimes several on each roll. I did not worry about the roll being soft on
\n\tthe tub i just got it there. The wife came over and wanted to go get a burger,
\n\tso i left after 4 rolls, there were 5 guys on the table and two of them clapped
\n\twhen i left. That was interesting, these were not long rolls, but they were all
\n\tgood money makers, and i almost doubled my buy in on them.<\/p>\n

\tI enjoyed this and was happy with what i was able to do.<\/p>\n

\tI am very happy to hear how the tuneup made such a dramatic change in your game (throwing and betting). We can all have lapses in our progress and my hat is off to you for doing something positive about it and then putting it into practice.<\/p>\n

\tIt is extremely encouraging to me to hear how you made money with only 4 moderate rolls. That is what the game is all about. It is not enough to become a good thrower but you also need a good betting strategy that compliments your game. I wrote a post on that very topic, "Make your money on the 10+ to 20+ rolls"<\/a> that can be found in the wisdom pages. In that post I said, "We often think you need a monster roll to make money at the tables. But that is not the case. It is the moderate rolls that occur more frequently. We need to have discipline at the tables, a good betting method that compliments our game and a plan for how long to stay in order to make a profit."<\/p>\n

\tIt is great to hear about folks who put that philosophy into their game and make a profit by doing so.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n\tYou three guys were great! The very interesting thing about your tune is that you guys came thinking that the big problem was in your throw. Yes, you needed a look at the throw and there were a few minor things that need to be corrected, but the big thing was in the betting. <\/p>\n

\tI am glad you took Daryl, Nick, and my suggestions on the betting pattern and showed you with proper betting, even a "short" roll can be a money maker. <\/p>\n

\tBetting has become a VERY strong part of our classes now. We don’t just say ‘do it our way" anymore, we show you very clearly in the live betting sessions that the misconceptions that most of you have is not the case. Actually taking a refresher course just to do our betting sessions IMHO is well worth it as shown in your case.<\/p>\n

\tKeep up the good work and I will see you at that tub one day!<\/p>\n

Proper betting can’t be over emphasized. As was stated above and needs to be repeated over and over, proper betting can make you a little money or make you lose much less on the short rolls, leaving you in a position to be at the table when the long roll occurs and make some big $$$$$. AND proper betting will always make you a bundle on the long rolls.<\/p>\n
