\nTwo Mexicans are stuck in the desert after crossing into the
\n\tUnited States , wandering aimlessly and starving. They are
\n\tabout to just lie down and wait for death, when all of a
\n\tsudden Luis says:<\/p>\n
\t"Hey Pepe, do you smell what I smell. Ees bacon, I theenk."<\/p>\n
\t"Si, Luis, eet sure smell like bacon. "<\/p>\n
\tWith renewed hope they struggle up the next sand dune,
\n\t& there, in the distance, is a tree loaded with bacon.<\/p>\n
\tThere’s raw bacon, there’s fried bacon, back bacon, double
\n\tsmoked bacon, every imaginable kind of cured pork.<\/p>\n
\t"Pepe, Pepe, we ees saved! Ees a bacon tree!"<\/p>\n
\t"Luis, maybe ees a meerage? We ees in the desert don’t forget."<\/p>\n
\t"Pepe, since when deed you ever hear of a meerage that
\n\tsmell like bacon? Ees no meerage, ees a bacon tree!"<\/p>\n
\tWith that, Luis staggers towards the tree. He gets to within
\n\t5 metres, Pepe crawling close behind, when suddenly a
\n\tmachine gun opens up, and Luis drops like a wet sock.
\n\tMortally wounded, he warns Pepe with his dying breath:<\/p>\n
\t"Pepe, go back man, you was right, ees not a bacon tree!"<\/p>\n
\t"Luis, Luis miamigo, what ees it? "<\/p>\n
\t"Pepe ees not a bacon tree. Ees…<\/p>\n
\n\tEes…. <\/p>\n
\tEes…<\/p>\n
\tEes…
\n\tEes… <\/p>\n
\n\tEes… <\/p>\n
\n\tEes…. a ham bush." <\/p>\n
