These are often vouchers with only pennies on them that customers don&#8217;t bother to redeem. The problem is there is no process in place for distributing the money and it&#8217;s currently sitting in an unclaimed-funds account. Nevada had $9.6 million in unclaimed tickets in most recent fiscal year and New Jersey had $2.4 million.
