\nI play a good deal of poker and the results have been good, but i made the same
\n\tmistake in the last two events. One cost me a few dollars the other a chance
\n\tat a lot of dollars. <\/p>\n
\tI dont indicate these to show how poorly i played, but rather so no one else
\n\tmakes the same brain dead mistake.<\/p>\n
\tEvent 1 i was in 4th place and blinds were $6000 and $3000, i was big blind and
\n\tsmall blind called. I had AJ and glanced over to see how many chips he lad left
\n\tand it appeared it was only $1500 so i just checked thinking he had so few he
\n\twas already pot committed. Well when i checked he lifted his hand and he had
\n\t$10,000 more. The flop came 9- 5 and his hand was 9 5 , i made a large bet and lost
\n\tand it hurt me alot at that point. I decent bet would have had him fold.<\/p>\n
\tSunday in a large event i was small blind and they were $800 and $400. I had 89 and
\n\tcalled the blind for $400 and watched the flop come 3 3 9 so i had two pair. I got
\n\tknocked out of the event on that had because the large blind had a 7 3.. Again a
\n\tdecent bet would have had him fold the 7 3…<\/p>\n
\tThat part of my game is weak… i got to remember at all times to play it
\n\tor fold it.<\/p>\n

\n\tplayer until i get to final table then i am more aggressive. I need to adjust my play some with these boys if i expect
\n\tto do as well as i have, not sure how to be more aggressive and still play my game.<\/p>\n
\n\tand concentrated on any sign of weakness in any caller, and it paid off big time. But it was only one night.
\n\tBut i have to admit i felt like i was a little more in control, rather than just playing poker.<\/p>\n
