\n\t The previous QoD to which you’re referring, which ran on 6\/6\/2013, was specifically on the subject of "major" casinos that are all or part-owned by individuals, as opposed to corporations or banks. Before we get to the one-off and hole-in-the-wall joints, a few remaining conglomerates need to be taken into account:<\/p>\n
\t\u2022American Casino & Entertainment Properties. This division of Goldman Sachs owns The Stratosphere, Arizona Charlie\u2019s Boulder and Arizona Charlie\u2019s Decatur.<\/p>\n
\t\u2022Boyd Gaming. One of the two dominant players in the \u2018locals\u2019 casino scene, Boyd owns The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam\u2019s Town, the California and Fremont hotels, Main Street Station, and \u2013 in Henderson \u2013 the Eldorado and Jokers Wild casinos.<\/p>\n
\t\u2022Station Casinos\u2019 flagship properties are Red Rock Resort, Green Valley Ranch Resort, Palace Station, Sunset Station, Boulder Station, and the Santa Fe Station hotels, Texas Station Gambling Hall, Fiesta Rancho and Fiesta Henderson hotels, plus Days Inn & Wild Wild West Gambling Hall. Station\u2019s brand, however, extends to many small gambling joints. Through management entity Fertitta Entertainment LLC, it controls Magic Star Casino, Greens Gaming & Dining (aka Greens Caf\u00e9) and all Wildfire-branded casinos.
