\n\tStickman kind of knows where I am at, BUT the table is nice , with very little bounce. A nice 12 footer!
\n\tThe dice are another thing though!
\n\tNot real sharp edges and shiny surfaces.\u00a0
\n\tBack in my room and at the table practicing with my normal frosted dice the dice are reacting in the air normally.
\n\tThese dice, so far, no matter what I do are sticking to my fingers. I am doing my normal ritual with hand prep, but the dice tend to stick!<\/p>\n

\tI did not bring any books with me to research, so I would like suggestions on a solution!<\/p>\n

I have the opposite problem. My skin is too dry, and I must increase the amount of skin contact to get the right amount of "stickiness". So, perhaps the opposite may work for you. Try decreasing the amount of skin contact to reduce the stickiness. Grip more with the ends of your fingers, and less with the pads. Good luck.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Thanks Diceman – that seemed to help!<\/p>\n

\tWent back the next day and during the day had a couple of short point… Sevens. And then a 20 and a short one.<\/p>\n

\tLater after dinner, a short one and THEN an unofficial GTC 48 roll, I think 5 of 6 points, did not get the 4 for sure.<\/p>\n

\tI still bet conservative but made up all lost ground plus some!<\/p>\n

\tThey do not let me control the dealers bet and take it down on win and they do not allow a piggyback bet ( all line bets are in increments of $5), so I know I am not tipping as much as I normally do. From suggestions on the board I play an extra dollar on the line and with the place bets.<\/p>\n

\tI saw the 30 go by as I was counting, and did not look again until the seven showed up. A least it was a 3\/4.<\/p>\n

\tGot lucky a couple of times but THAT SURE FELT GOOD!<\/p>\n

\tWe will see what the rest of the trip brings.<\/p>\n

Try some Arid extra dry. that is what I use<\/p>\n

Thanks Dom, but I think it was not a problem with my fingers being sticky or moist, but the slick surface of the dice. The slick surface seemed to adhere to my fingers (surface tension kind of thing), where as I went back to my room, threw my frosted dice and the release was fine. <\/p>\n

\tLater in the week if I slipped back to gripping the dice normally the same thing started to happen again.
\n\tBut using Diceman’s suggestion seemed to help. Though, I did find myself maybe being a bit tense not using my normal grip. Concentration on different grip.<\/p>\n

\tLess than three months to refresher, and more help with my throw!<\/p>\n

\tOh well, on my way back home from this business cruise.<\/p>\n
