Many highly touted Universities conduct research that is paid for by legal firms that represent a variety of clients who have an interest in the outcome of the study. I did a little professional witness work and got prepared by a large firm for a possible legal issue they were forecasting would impact a client. And when they questioned me about my knowledge regarding what I was to testify on they informed me of the things that I referenced that they had funded. Kind of an eye opener.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
