Combined with new dice with sharp points the dice might grab the felt as they hit and die in place without every getting to the wall. This has happened to me on occassion. I just say " I know" and I’ll get ’em there". It may also be that you are too relaxed and just not tossing them far enough. Maybe a bit more effort on the front swing if it is happening consistently. If it happens rarely and sporadically, then its probably the new dice with sharp edges. In that case I would not change my shot at all. The last thing you want is for the dice to come to the back wall too "hot" and explode off the back wall.

Pit Boss

Posted by: Rival on April 14, 2013, 6:38 pm

lol. they are new dice indeed.

it seems a challenge from just "dying" and the dice rocketing back off the back wall. will keep at it.

Posted by: Randman on April 15, 2013, 1:34 pm

You almost could relate it to a putting green in golf.
