\nHas anyone played this version of Pai Gow ? It is called EZ PAI GOW<\/p>\n

\tIt has just been put in on 2 tables (converted from regular Pai Gow) at 2 of the local casinos in my area. <\/p>\n

\tThe rules are the same as regular Pai Gow with the following changes<\/p>\n

\t1) No Commission on wins
\n\t2) If the dealer get a Queen high Pai Gow , all regular bets are a push
\n\t3) 2 extra side bets<\/p>\n

\tSide bets<\/p>\n

\t1) Dynasty Bet same as Fortune bet on the regular table
\n\t2) Queen high Pai Gow that the dealer gets This pays 50 to 1 . Note the average for Queen high for the dealer is 1 every 57 hands. I have seen the counter at the table many times over 100 and today at 250.
\n\t3) Pai gow bets on your hand<\/p>\n

\t The bets on A-5 natural straight flush 120 to 1
\n\t 9 high PG 100 to 1
\n\t 10 high PG 25 to 1
\n\t J high PG 15 to 1
\n\t Q high PG 7 to 1
\n\t K high PG 5 to 1
\n\t A high PG 3 to 1 <\/p>\n

\tHas anyone played this version yet ? <\/p>\n

\tSkinny how does compare to the regular Pai Gow game.<\/p>\n

\tNote: the game seams to be a little bit faster, as the dealers do not have to worry about collecting the 5% Commission.<\/p>\n

It has a house advantage of 2.47%. That is slightly lower than regular Pai Gow Poker at 2.73%, if you do not bank. But it is worse than regular Pai Gow Poker if you bank at every opportunity. With banking you are at 1.46% when playing heads up. It gets lower if there are other players playing against you depending on how many are playing and the amount they are wagering.<\/p>\n

\tThe house advantage on the side bets are as follows:<\/p>\n

\t1) Dynasty Bet same as Fortune bet on the regular table
\n\tSince it pays an envy bonus, it depends on the number of players and the amount you wager on the bonus. It starts at 8.16% with one player and decreases with each additional player down to 3.64% at a full table.<\/p>\n

\t2) Queen high Pai Gow that the dealer gets This pays 50 to 1 . Note the average for Queen high for the dealer is 1 every 57 hands. I have seen the counter at the table many times over 100 and today at 250.

\tThanks Skinny. Those are the %% I was wondering about. I always bank when I am heads up with the dealer and sometimes with other players depending on their bets.<\/p>\n

\tIt seams to me that the EZ game is faster and more hands as the dealers do not have to worry about the commission.<\/p>\n

I was in AC this weekend and played some EZ Pai Gow. I found it as previously described, but they would not let me bank. Don’t know if this is just this one house or not but it also helps the HA.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\tYou are correct. You can not bank with EZ Pai Gow. I have played at 2 local casinos and 1 when I was on holidays, and the answer is the same.. No Banking.<\/p>\n
