\n\t"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don’t have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Having grown up in a Military family I quickly adapted to and acquired the accents where we were stationed. When My wife and I spend time with friends in Ireland she complains that after several days there she can’t understand me either. This quiz gives me a "The Inland North" accent.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I was born in Istanbul, Turkey, I came to LA when I was 9. I spoke Turkish in the streets, Armenian to my mom and French with my dad. But I learned how to speak English in LA not only from the other kids, but by watching Bugs Bunny, The Tree Stooges and the Flintstones all of which had Brooklyn accents. That’s probably why most people think I have a NY or Jersey accent. \ud83d\ude00<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
