\nJust got off my favorite cruise line ship in sunny Florida. Short cruise, less than 7 days.<\/p>\n
\tCruising is the best getaway, no worries, meals when you want, lots to do, AND at a reasonable cost!<\/p>\n
\tAlso, you can play craps after a port day in the evening, and on sea days from lunch to the late hours at low limits.<\/p>\n
\tAs for the casino on this ship – the craps table was a dream one. 12 footer, dead bounce, nice microfiber surface. Odds 2X, no controlled dealer on top bets. Nice height.<\/p>\n
\tDealers were nice, no hassles.<\/p>\n
\tBefore the cruise, practiced daily for weeks, shot looked pretty good on the final practice session.<\/p>\n
\tI had to really work on the pendulum swing AND the right amount of backspin for the dice to have a decent result. Thanks to all the advice from instructors and posters from this site. You really help.<\/p>\n
\tFirst day: Table opens after dinner. I step up and introduce myself to the dealers. No one else playing!<\/p>\n
\tLooks like good time to play slow and test the table and staff. After 3 rolls two other players show.<\/p>\n
\tCrazy manners with these two, late buy ins, late betting etc. Quickly 7 out.<\/p>\n
\tThe dice come back to me. Table is almost full now. <\/p>\n
\tI set the hardways, aim, and let the dice go —look great, nice numbers, little bounce back.<\/p>\n
\tThe "craps shooter zone out" starts, kept rolling for 40 minutes lots of great numbers many points. Filled the two racks in front of me. I did not count how many rolls when I was in the zone. Starting getting a few craps numbers and eventually 7’d out. Other players love me. How does he hit so many 8’s they ask?<\/p>\n
\tI used proper GTC betting and tipping . Pressed 1 unit on each hit.<\/p>\n
\tThe RR’s also did very well, made some money on their rolls after the 5 count.<\/p>\n
\tDice come back to me again, three players wave the dice back to me. Let him shoot!<\/p>\n
\tHad a nice 20 minute roll in spite of the arm jumble all over the other side of the table making late bets. <\/p>\n
\tLucky I am not too supersticious, bills all over the table when I am getting ready to shoot. Sometimes piles of ones and 5’s.<\/p>\n
\tMade a little more profit and called it a night.<\/p>\n
\tDay 2:<\/p>\n
\tTable opens after dinner. First one there again. <\/p>\n
\tDo the exact same routine, HOWEVER, THERE IS MORE REACTION WITH THE DICE????<\/p>\n
\tWeird??? Not the same as the day before .<\/p>\n
\tSince I was alone, I had plenty of time to adjust the landing angle down a little. That made the dice look somewhat better.<\/p>\n
\tI stopped shooting for a few minutes as the regular players from the last session showed.<\/p>\n
\tWhile I was waiting, the stick asked how I liked the table now????<\/p>\n
\tHe them proceeds to tell me they changed the felt this morning AND it was nice and tight now!!!!!!!<\/p>\n
\tHas this ever happened to anyone else?<\/p>\n
\tAfter my angle adjustment the new felt made no difference to me. Lots of 15-20 minute rolls that filled the rack.<\/p>\n
\tAlmost all the RR were really lucky and I made money on them as well . 2 chip refills!<\/p>\n
\tI must have had some great rolls as a nice women at the end of the table kept asking me to marry her!<\/p>\n
\tDay 2 summary, still $ ahead playing on the house money.<\/p>\n
\tNote: One of the dealers would bend over and look at my set up about 10 inches from my hand. Never saw that before.<\/p>\n
\tDay 3 to the end, some good wins but nothing like the first two days.<\/p>\n
\tPlayed with the same 7 or 8 people the entire cruise .<\/p>\n
\tUsed some of my winning for BJ and Vp.<\/p>\n
\tLooking forward to the March Class for a tune up.<\/p>\n
\tI start out well but something changes the longer and the more sessions I play.<\/p>\n
