\nThe Beautiful Alligator Rose and I have been playing around with the IPAD by filming each other–at the craps tables for you with the dirty minds!!!!! We like the Slo Pro app that Goldfinger told us about. Yesterday she was reviewing a couple of throws I had made earlier in the day. She said "you need to come see this." On the IPAD we watched my throw and here is what we observed. I set the dice, grip the dice and all looks well. Then as I turn my head to eye my targer I am turning my body very slightly and raising my right shoulder and not taking a true pendalum swing. The dice were not reacting as they should. By the way I had not had a good long roll of 15 or more in a couple of days. Since I made that correction while Rose observed, I have had 3 rolls of 30 or more in practice. We could not have seen this without the slow motion, since at regular speed this flaw in my throw would have been difficult if not impossible to see. <\/p>\n

\tSmall imperfections in your throw can easily work their way into your throw–it can happen to all of us. Remember even the best pros on the PGA circuit have coaches all the time. We are the pros on the GTC circuit. <\/p>\n

\tThe IPAD is a great tool and for those of you who have one, we highly recomment it as another arrow in your quiver while practicing. <\/p>\n

Well, if you get in the fraternity of having an iPhone, iPad, iTouch, iPod, then you need a Mac to effortlessly have things synced. AND the lack of viruses doesn’t hurt.<\/p>\n

I diverted paying $500 plus for a Pad and got the Galaxy note 2 with the giant screen, oh and by the way its also a phone.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Thanks for sharing the ipad information. I have not been able to find anyone in the LA area to get together with and practce. My wife is starting to roll some with me and has been helpful but she basically only knows what I have taught her and what she has read. My GTC video went bad so she can’t use that. <\/p>\n

\tI tried to video myself and was not able to get the stop action and resolution to get a good idea as to what was right and what I was doing wrong. I will try my ipad tomorrow for sure.<\/p>\n

I am having better luck with the Elixim EX-FS10 from Casio. Can do up to 1000 frames per second. BUT it needs lots of light!<\/p>\n

\tWith SloPro, I am going to try shooting again with and then import into iPhoto which has better controls.
\n\tWill also try the Pro version to see if that helps with SloPro as described by others.<\/p>\n

Stealthman, I have also been using the Casio for about 2 years. I have a setup in my basement with a set of $20 work lights from Home Depot and get good results at 210 fps. <\/p>\n

\tI’m looking for something to attach my iPhone to the tripod so I can try SloPro app.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

If you have an Otter box you should be set with the belt clip holster.<\/p>\n
