\nI had the good fortune to roll with Dragon Boat Racer, Slamming Sammy, Big Frankie and his wife, and Rubin 74. I had a roll of 17 box numbers according to DBR. If it hadn’t been for the generousity of DBR and Big Frankie I would not have made a dime. My toss has been off lately and I was betting minimally. When I hit their parlayed hard ways they each rolled me a tip. <\/p>\n
\tThe real winner of the week end in my mind was Rubin 74. I understand that he had an hour and a half roll on Jan. 1st in the evening which I wasn’t able to be there for. But today he more than made up for it. He banged out a 52 count roll. He had 3 4’s, 5 5’s, 7 6’s, 10 8’s, 9 9’s, 3 10’s. He made 4 points but no fire and 2 11 come out winners. One of the come out winners was followed by 2 3’s. Any one who has rolled with Rubin 74 knows that he always has a Whirl (World) bet on the come out and pushes it up one unit when he hits it.<\/p>\n
\tAgain I didn’t make much money because I have been very tenative and I was helping some newbie bet the roll. This newbie was betting Quarters across and after he had his initial investment returned I had him pressing one unit each time. The newbie got nervous around roll number 35 and wanted to come down all the way. I convinced him to just come down to $210 across. On roll number 50 Rubin74 rolled a 12 and I had the newbie call off his bets for 2 rolls thus avoiding armagedon on roll number 52. The newbie colored out at almost $4000. His buddy at the other end of the table did about the same as he was trying to mock us.<\/p>\n
\tThis newbie tipped me generously for my help in addition to putting me on the line for all 4 points. He tipped the dealers generously and even tipped Rubin 74. <\/p>\n
\tThe table all passed the dice back to Rubin74 and he had a modest roll of 7 box numbers but that included 2 points made. I then rolled an 11 number hand consisting of 8 box numbers and one point made, and he rolled again getting a 12 number hand with 6 box numbers but no points made.<\/p>\n
\tThe newbies treated us to dinner at Charlie’s Pup (not sure of the exact name). I had great steak fahitas.<\/p>\n
