\nWent to Vegas Dec 19 – 21st for a quick bit of R & R. Stayed downtown. For the first time in a while, I’ve got some really good news to report. I took a quick nap upon arriving, then went down to take a look at the casino. It turned out that the only open table was free of shooters except for one guy and his girlfriend on the far end of SL side. I decided to warm up and get a little play in and to try out the really good results I had been getting since video analysis in October. I put $5 on the passline and placed the 6 & 8 for $12 each. Hadn’t stayed at this casino before, nor had I played it much. The start was a little shakey because I was a littie nervous and didn’t know if I’d get heat or not ( I never did at that casino ). Then I settled in. First hit on the 6\/8, I pressed it to $30. Right away, I got them both to $30 and kept hitting them regularly. On every hit, I racked $25 and placed $10 on the free numbers. Then I began hitting the $10 numbers and bumping them to $25 each, placing the 5 & 9 and buying the 4 and 10. Then I started hitting $25 place bets across the board. After 5 hits at the pressed level, I started pressing $10 – $12 per unit on repeaters. By the end, I had 6 & 8 up to $60 each, and $50 everywhere else. Collecting $70 on each inside hit and $98 when the 4 and 10 hit. To make a long story short, I rolled a lot of numbers and held the dice a while. A CF who showed up in the middle of the roll said he counted 23 before the 7 arrived. From a $29 layout risk, I cashed out with a $600 profit! From that point on, it was money management time, because I didn’t plan on giving it back to them. Played maybe a dozen more hands over the next day and came home up $750, and never lost more than $100 or so in any one session using Frank’s 3 and out strategy. <\/p>\n
\tRolled a little with Griz but as a team, we never got it going. We always had our hot streaks in separate casinos. Weird.<\/p>\n
\tGot to say that the video analysis changed my game completely. If any of you are having trouble, I highly recommend the video tune up. The instructors tweeked my grip and showed me what was off on the throw. The change in results has been monumental and its easy to fix errors during play now. My main issue was alignment and relaxing the arm. Now, anytime the dice wander to my left on impact, I know I need to fix my alignment and, because of the video, I know how to do it instantly. Money very well spent, I’d say.<\/p>\n

Never was really going to quit. It’s not in my nature.<\/p>\n \tClark – No worries, I understand your situation. And you’re right about that casino. I did check up short the next evening and got some gentle reminders…the throw was beautifully soft, man and sometimes it just dies at the wall then.<\/p>\n \tEven though I had a good trip, I know how fickle the dice gods can be. I just got lucky and hit everything on the board that night. Sometimes, at home in practice, I’ll have a 20+ hand that only has one or two good hits in it. We all need lady luck. When the 6 & 8 aren’t hitting, the 6-8 strategy I posted is a good hedge at best but frustrating when it misbehaves on a long roll.<\/p>\n \tHope all of you true believers are having a great holiday out there!<\/p>\n \tAlamo<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
