\nLois and I both took the dice 5 times today. Her on axis percentage was 82% and mine was 83%. Now before anyone gets all excited and wants to know how many hard ways we hit, we didn’t. That is because neither of us uses the hard ways set. We both get too many double pitch 7’s to suit us.<\/p>\n
\tNow the bad part of the report. We only made a very small profit because I bet on the randies and lost. Lois has been telling me lately that I am squandering money and today I am convinced. In the future I will be 5 counting more (even on fellow GTCer’s) and betting higher amounts on ourselves.<\/p>\n
\tHeaven knows why I have gotten away from the basic betting philosophy of GTC but I did. <\/p>\n
\tI hope some of the newer players here will see the error in my most recent betting and use the basic play given to them in class. I know I used to play that way and 5 count and only bet come bets on randies but somehow I got myself side tracked.

Sorry, but it was correct in 1946 and is correct today in a Random game.<\/p>\n \tBefore dice control came into my life, in private games, I would never touch the dice and would bet against the dice. after the point was set. Even with true odds you have the advantage of frequency. \n\tYou have to be cautious in reading my reply. We are talking about betting on ‘randies’ and there is no way to beat the House<\/strong>(casino game), over time, on Random Rolls. They have the Odds in their favor!!!<\/p>\n

\n\tThese also get mixed up with Probability and possibility.<\/p>\n
