So here is some detective work for you. I am willing to bet a sandwich at your favorite deli (and I know you have a few)for proof that Chazz was the little boy in a Bronx Tale.

In a Bronx Tale, Sonny tells young 9 year old Calogero, your name will be C. Funny, Chazz starts with a C.

Sonny always told C to stay in school and get an education, "don’t be like me" he said, well Chazz got an education both on the streets and in school.

Coincidence…Ha, I think not. All the time I spent in that area of the Bronx was spent eating on Arthur Ave. Great food block!!!

But I love a challenge however in this case most of the witnesses are dead
Slick, Crazy Mario and Aldo burned up in that car when they headed over to Clydes Records to get Willie and his friends LOL

Most likely this was based on real life events that he experienced or witnessed

However. I think this article may help you draw a conclusion

http://thevillager.com/villager_236/cha … nteri.html

While I got you what was the first point C made in the basement

What was the name of the horse everyone was mushed on

Posted by: Pit Boss on September 22, 2012, 3:31 pm

Just as i suspected, he was C. He established the point with a 3-1notepad though.

As for the horse, it’s onbthe tip of my tounge, but i cant remeber the name without cheating &the looking it up on it Google. He could not take it because he had a "city job" and he could lose it if he "got pinched". By the way how many time did he have to drive the bus back and forth so the family could eat steak once a week?

Lunch is a date but I am in New jersey now…. I do not get in to the city much. I try to stay away. Been there done it all. Perhaps we can do a slice at Tony Baloney’s my favorite AC pizzeria. Right around the corner from Revel.
The pizza is nothing like NY. The place looks like it is falling apart, but they crazy combinations make it special. The owner Mike is a great guy. It won the best cheeses steak by Guy Feriri of the food network.

Posted by: Pit Boss on September 22, 2012, 10:26 pm

You got me on the times back and forth, I know C said it "because I Counted"

Lorenzo was offered $150 a week for the numbers.

All of a sudden, I have this craving for pizza. Tony Baloney’s, were there.

Speaking of cheese-steak, I think both Pat’s and Gino’s are overrated. Yes they are landmarks, but unless you grew up with the stuff, it’s just greasy meat and Velveeta cheese. BTW, I get mine with provolone.

On the other hand, there is GREAT deli on every corner in both Philly, New York and New Jersey. Dice Pilot and I went to a tiny deli near Gino’s, they had the best bread, they made their own dressing and spreads and the meats were to die for.

Posted by: ThomasH on September 22, 2012, 11:16 pm

Tony Baloney’s – how safe is the area around Tony’s?
