\nTwo red die at a casino table, sometimes called an indistinguishable pair by mathematicians(I like to think of them as Identical Twins), allow you to distinguish only 21 results<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\tOne red die paired with a green die at your practice table, sometimes referred to as a distinguishable pair(not identical twins), allow you to distinguish 36 results<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\tAs students of the game, we all know that there are 36 outcomes from tossing two die.<\/p>\n

\t[list=square]Why are some indistinguishable? Why the difference?<\/strong>
\n\t[*]15 numbered appear to be missing at the casino[\/*]
\n\t[*]These numbers are the reverse image of the same number ie. 1:2, 2:1, 1:3, 3:1 etc.
\n\t1:2, 2:1<\/strong>, 1:3, 3:1<\/strong>, 2:3, 3:2<\/strong>, 1:4, 4:1<\/strong>, 1:5, 5:1<\/strong>, 2:4, 4:2<\/strong>, 2:5, 5:2<\/strong>, 3:4, 4:3,<\/strong> 1:6, 6:1<\/strong>, 2:6, 6:2<\/strong>, 3:5, 5:3<\/strong>, 3:6, 6:3<\/strong>, 4:5, 5:4<\/strong>, 4:6, 6:4<\/strong>, 5:6, 6:5<\/strong>[\/*]

It has been stated that one who generalizes…Generally lies<\/u>!<\/p>\n

\tI know that a few of you can keep track of the die at a casino table by concentrating on just one die, therefore, knowing that that die is on or off axis and the other die must follow suite by elimination.<\/p>\n

\tSo, therefore, some of you distinguish all 36 of the outcomes in the casino. Correct ACPA?<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
