\tLast June I took the video analysis and a refresher in Las Vegas. I got plenty out of the analysis and I always get a bunch out of the refresher. We had a real nice trip and some nice sessions at the tables. I\u2019ve enjoyed visiting with everyone associated with GTC since I started taking classes a couple of years ago. <\/p>\n
\tI went by the classes in October, mostly to socialize and take a few of the short advantage play classes that they were offering. I was in LV on business and it worked out just right. I ran into No Field Five and he asked how I liked the video analysis disc that he sent. I was somewhat embarrassed to admit that I hadn\u2019t had the time to look at it yet. I could tell he was disappointed as I knew how much he and Billy put into this project. <\/p>\n
\tI also didn\u2019t mention that I was quite busy this summer, hadn\u2019t practiced very much and that my throw had gone somewhere bad, but I was going to find it. Well, old man winter started creeping in, things slowed down a bit and I got back on the practice table. I knew it would take some work, but it wouldn\u2019t be like starting all over again either. <\/p>\n
\tAfter a few nights practice, I remembered that I had the video analysis disc at my office. I popped it in and all I can say is \u201cWOW\u201d. It was like I was right back in the class with NFF coaching me, showing what I was doing wrong, the bad habits I had to break (that\u2019s rough) and what I needed to work on. And that was only the first five minutes. Since then I have been practicing and my throw is slowly coming back, hopefully better than before. But needless to say having the video was priceless. <\/p>\n
\tHaving gotten a little confidence back, I took a short road trip last week to some casinos I haven\u2019t visited in a while. I had a few so-so sessions the night I arrived. The next morning I headed down to the casino, still half asleep I\u2019m sure, played a few hands of BJ so I could kind of wake my self up. Then I headed to the craps table, with myself as the only player. I don\u2019t know how long I shot, but I know it was a 50+ roll. When I made what would be my last point, a new \u201csuit\u201d was by the box and informed me that I would no longer be allowed to shoot next to stick in the manner in which I had been throwing. I didn\u2019t bother asking him why or what the hell he was talking about, my mind was blown and I was looking at the bets I had spread on the table. <\/p>\n
\tI don\u2019t know if I did the right thing or not (I think I did) but I said I needed to get back to work anyway, please take my bets down and color me up. How many times have we wondered \u201cif I would have taken my bets down before I went out!\u201d This time they made that decision for me. I was pumped that I had a great roll and came out financially, but I\u2019ll always wonder if that would have been \u201cthe big one\u201d. <\/p>\n
\tMy kudos again for NFF and Billy for the job they are doing on the video analysis and I recommend it for anyone getting serious about control shooting.<\/p>\n
