Due to the pandemic, I had not been to a casino since March of 2020. Being a senior citizen contributed to this. In late September of this year I got Covid, but having been vaccinated and boosted, it was no worse than a bad cold. Now, I felt able to go back to the casinos. During this lengthy hiatus, I did not practice. With no gambling trip in view, I was totally unmotivated. Now things had turned around and I started to practice like crazy.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday with a great feeling of trepidation I arrived in AC. Could I recover my skill set after so long a layoff? Would I remember to breathe, my arm position and release point? Tuesday, I could not get on the one open table. Yesterday morning I ventured forth with hopes held high. I got down at 5:30\u00a0 AM and no table was even open. I was not a happy camper. I decided to play three card poker and the person who oversaw the games said they would open a table at 6:30 AM. I hung out and when they opened the table, it was just me. I was told that they were closing the table at 8 AM to use the crew for a private craps game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I began to shoot and it was liking getting back on a horse or even a bike after falling off. I shot lots of teens and 20’s and left at 7:45 AM with $1800. Using the Big Skinny with one PL bet and 2 Come bets to start off worked great. I could not get one big roll, but enough rolls where\u00a0 I had 3 to 5 hits. When I left, I was told to come back at 11 AM when they were reopening. That turned out to be even better. More to come.<\/p>\n

There was one guy at the left end waiting when I walked up. Two other guys came along. The end guy played the ‘don’t\u00a0 and quickly made the point. He passed the dice to the guy at my end who shot about 7 rolls and sevened out. I was up next. When I finished, I had 48 rolls and new friends for the moment. I was in the zone, but remember the pit boss yelling for me to make\u00a0 the point and laughing. My next stop was another casino and I continued in the zone. I wrapped it up yesterday morning with another win. I had never been on a trip with no losing sessions. I do\u00a0 not think it will happen again. I was told that the private table guy bet $300 come bets with full odds.
