\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Well, I thought I would take a few minutes to say what a great class we had this last weekend in Vegas.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The students came ready to learn and had a great attitude toward working on their toss. I have to say that each time I teach it also gives me the opportunity to reflect on where I have been and where I am in my own journey with the dice.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I am always impressed with the learning curve that I see between the students on Saturday and the students that show up on Sunday. So much progress in one days instruction is truly remarkable . We had a lot of fun as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I know there are so many component to what we teach. So much relates to connecting our body with our mind and trying to get our fingers, hand and arm to cooperate and it an be very frustrating at times. Be patient with yourself and try working on one component at a time. Maybe at today’s practice it is only your backswing and grip. Tomorrow may be your follow through. Slow things down and try to build good muscle memory as you go. I can only stress the importance of meaningful practice as opposed to just going through the motions. Stay focused. It involves a great deal of nuance.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I find this forum to be very useful. I am hoping that some of you newer students will feel the urge to contribute. I know it takes a few minutes, but this forum is only as useful as the people who take the time to use it. \u00a0Give us some feedback on what you got out of the class and how your practice is going.<\/p>\n

I’ve been throwing on our bed. We both can’t wait for the practice tables we ordered. I have materials coming to make Boots a bag for an extra 4″ lift. She will still need to use her healed boots :). Dom, Sandman, Desparado, and Mr Pip really helped me to improve my toss. When I went to the casino I was able to roll longer and make some points. I used the 5 counts and come betting, but think I need to work on my betting more as I did not win any money overall, actually lost a few hundred. In Live play I get a bit confused on what to rebet when I do get paid for a bet…Even tried a crapless table, that betting was interesting too.
