{"id":10387,"date":"2022-04-13T22:44:43","date_gmt":"2022-04-13T22:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumarchives.tmsites.net\/index.php\/2022\/04\/13\/new-stadium-craps-game-coming-to-town\/"},"modified":"2022-04-13T22:44:43","modified_gmt":"2022-04-13T22:44:43","slug":"new-stadium-craps-game-coming-to-town","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumarchives.tmsites.net\/index.php\/2022\/04\/13\/new-stadium-craps-game-coming-to-town\/","title":{"rendered":"New Stadium Craps Game coming to town"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- Original Post Content --><\/p>\n<p>As the Roll 2 Win tables are being removed, there&#8217;s a new stadium craps game coming to town. \u00a0Apparently the first is live on the strip at the place that&#8217;s darker with red-black interior colors.<\/p>\n<p>From a review I saw, not first hand, there&#8217;s an approximately 8ft table, with felt or micro, that you shoot at. \u00a0When not shooting, you&#8217;re sitting down at your terminal. \u00a0When you&#8217;re shooting, your terminal is locked and transferred to the terminal at the table where it is fixed in place and you can only shoot from straight out.<\/p>\n<p>The dealer calls the dice, drags them under a light within a circle and confirms the call. \u00a0This all takes time per roll, but I&#8217;m also worried that a die rolls over on the way to the circle and gets called something it&#8217;s not.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m looking forward to trying it out, but please pipe in if you get a chance to play it and let everyone know your thoughts. \u00a0One other item is that there are other terminals in other stadiums that can play craps, not just the ones around the craps table. \u00a0Interesting to be sure!<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3>Replies:<\/h3>\n<div class=\"migrated-reply\" style=\"border: 1px solid #eee;padding: 15px;margin-bottom: 15px;border-radius: 5px\">\n<p><strong>Posted by:<\/strong> Dr Crapology on April 14, 2022, 1:32 pm<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Totally weird.\u00a0 Please send a private message concerning this type of craps game.\u00a0 Rolling from the end of the table on I assume an 8 foot table would have you at about the same distance from the back as rolling from SL1 or SR1 on a regular 12 foot table.\u00a0 .\u00a0 Think about it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you are at a regular 12 foot table, the middle of the stickman would be 6 feet from the from both back walls. No dealers, no boxman. Cuts the number of employees from 4\/table down to 1\/table. And it looks like the intent is to have 1 table, with as many &#8220;players&#8221; as can be fit in the &#8220;stadium&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The downside for the casino is that the &#8220;up front and close to the action&#8221; excitement endemic to Craps is gone. No player excitement, no interest in the game. It looks sterile.<\/p>\n<p>The upside for the player is you will be able to 5-count to your heart&#8217;s content. You could probably skip betting on random layers altogether. Its pretty funny because you have to excuse yourself to the end shooter because you are leaning out in front of his position.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">With &#8220;Stadium Craps&#8221; which has a felt top, you will set your dice off the back wall and swing out away from the wall. We have only played this table a couple of times.
