Reading Cotton Lob’s thread reminded me of this part of my new book:<\/p>\n
Question:<\/strong> I have heard you say that you give each table you walk up to \u201cThe movie test.\u201d What exactly do you mean by that?<\/p>\n Answer:<\/strong> So, it is a quite evening and you have finished eating and practicing your craps throw. You now what to settle in your easy chair and turn on the TV, but you have nothing saved on your DVR that you want to watch so you take your remote out and start to flip through the channels. You stop at one station and look at the show for a few minutes and decide to move on and you start flipping again till you finally land on the movie \u201cCasino\u201d which you have seen before, and you love. That is the movie test.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n When you go up to a table and buy in, give that table the movie test. Have you seen this movie before in the sense of good things like dealers that seem friendly, the dice are moving quickly, the players seem to know what they are doing. Or is this a movie that you hate. A crowed table, bad dealers and players. If so cash out and move on to another table.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Think about it readers. We have all been at a table that we should have walked away from for one reason or the other. Can’t wait for Vegas and a great class.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Posted by:<\/strong> BigCasino on April 14, 2021, 3:45 am<\/p>\n Dom,\u00a0<\/p>\n I know exactly what you mean.\u00a0 I was in Downtown LV in one of my favorite spots .. on a table I really enjoy 12′\u00a0 Table conditions PERFECT… Players not so much had a couple players arguing with dealers. 1 player making every PROP bet possible multiple hops etc.\u00a0 Then arguing after every toss he was not paid correctly ..\u00a0 I was hoping the guy would go broke\u00a0 with all those prop bets but he kept digging out 100’s.\u00a0 Slowed the game to a crawl.. and another player was about to put a tuneup on him.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I cashed out and moved on..
