Hello GTC, just wondering if anyone has experienced the new casino protocols for playing at the craps tables?\u00a0 I realize that only certain casinos have opened to the public.\u00a0 Please share your thoughts on the table conditions and do not mention any casino names.<\/p>\n

Posted by:<\/strong> Dr Crapology on June 4, 2020, 10:02 pm<\/p>\n Rose and Doc have read several yahoo “pop ups” that indicate that masks will be mandatory for employees but optional for guests but that masks will be available for guests as well as sanitation stations and that some of the disinfecting solutions may will be for sale by the cocktail waitresses and other employees.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Distancing will probably be enforced at least in the short run maybe longer.\u00a0 We have read two versions–3 players to a side or 4 to the side of a craps table.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n What will we do?\u00a0 We will wear a mask–Doc has no choice because of a lung disorder–not serious at this time but one that needs to be monitored and recognized.\u00a0 We will also wear gloves but remove the glove on our throwing hand and handle the chips only with the non throwing arm.\u00a0 We will also use a lot of\u00a0 the disinfection liquids.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n At this point this is what we expect.\u00a0 Please everybody, weight in on this issue you enter a casino and see what steps they have taken as we think it will become most important subject as the casino industry moves forward after the shutdown we have experienced.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Look forward to other’s thoughts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Posted by:<\/strong> Admin on June 4, 2020, 11:06 pm<\/p>\n I know someone that works at the VA hospital and before they can go in to the building they must pass a temperature test. They also ask them questions about any symptoms.\u00a0 A staff member screens everyone with one of those forehead temperature thermometers, anyone 100.4 or above is not allowed in and are suggested to self quarantine for two weeks and get tested asap. I would consider it like a metal detector at the airport, at least you know everyone in the room has passed the temperature test. Have not seen that mentioned but think it would be a good safety precaution.<\/p>\n From what I understand the basic masks only protect the wearer from infecting others, it does not protect the wearer from contracting the virus from others, you need the N95 mask, or better plus some sort of shield for the eyes. Harbor freight has clear safety glasses for $3.00 that provide good coverage.<\/p>\n I also think there are UV systems that can be used on chips and dice, then seal them, and not allow anyone to handle them without gloves? Tables were $10 and $15 min.\u00a0 They were the only one to have plexiglass dividers on the crap table. 3persons to each side..<\/p>\n I also played at the equine foot covering. They allowed 3 people on each end, tables were $25 min, during prime times and were packed….they were $10 min in the morning. I played here right before I left. Valet parking will not be available.
Parking will be limited to the Grand Pequot or Great Cedar parking garages.
Line Run and Charter Buses will not be available at this time.
As is the case throughout Connecticut, dining will be grab-and-go.
Half of the Grand Pequot Ball Room is setup with dining tables and chairs, spaced according to social distancing guidelines, for grab-and-go patrons. Additionally, the Grand Pequot Tower valet entrance will be setup for outdoor dining.
Smoking will only be allowed in designated areas.
Poker, Bingo, Keno, and The Rainmaker Buffet will not be open during this first phase. are limiting admission to CT and RI residents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
