HardNine, \u00a0 Come out sevens are not included. With my practice session I usually roll anywhere from 80 to 100 rolls per session give or take a few. I work a lot on form & muscle memory. I start each dice possession until I seven out, then I start my next roll so on & so on. In\u00a0 between each roll I do a dry run. No releasing of the dice. I use mirrors to check my back swing, side view & follow through.<\/p>\n

Great practice exercises to be sure! \u00a0The change up likely keeps your concentration level very high.<\/p>\n
However, you can’t state a SRR of 20 if you don’t include comeouts. \u00a0SRR by definition includes every roll and every 7, otherwise it’s a NCOSRR (non-comeout SRR) \ud83d\ude09 which doesn’t exist.<\/p>\n
Keep up that great practice routine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

HardNine is right, every 7 needs to be counted when you want to calculate your SRR. You are not playing a game when you are trying to calculate your edge<\/p>\n

Thanks for the correction Dom & HardNine. I have had come out sevens counted on my past 15,000 rolls. My last 5000 rolls I didn\u2019t \u00a0count them, but I don\u2019t remember why I stopped counting them. I will make the correction. I guess it was a rookie mistake.<\/p>\n

Exactly – when you are calculating your SRR – use the hardway set. Practice your throw first, then decide that the next “X” amount of throws you are going to record for your SRR<\/p>\n

Holy HELL I was about to ask DOM\u00a0 for a refund\u00a0 for my last 2 classes if your throwing a 20 SRR \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 after 1 year.<\/p>\n
Seriously it sounds like you have some very good practice habits.\u00a0 When someone is around I have them do a slo mo video that seems to help.\u00a0 I have been at it since august 2018 and not that high yet.\u00a0 \u00a0But I count all the 7’s.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

I was a first timer in the Vegas feb 2019 class, the one right before the world going nuts.<\/p>\n
This is where I am at now:<\/p>\n
TOtal rolls 10,500<\/p>\n
Pro1 .001%<\/p>\n
PRo2 .92%<\/p>\n
PRo3 .00%<\/p>\n
SRR 6.54<\/p>\n
I started tracking my numbers by month.\u00a0 I use smartcraps and start another player every month. So I input each roll twice, once in the total rolls and once in each month.\u00a0 After videoing my throw, it was apparent things were not good.\u00a0 In april I recorded 934 throws and had an SRR of 6.67.\u00a0 In May I made the corrections and I have recorded 500 throws with an SRR of 7.51.\u00a0 Working on my grip and throw has made a big difference.\u00a0 I can see the dice traveling together much better.<\/p>\n

@cliffm1, I love your idea of recording them twice. \u00a0I assume you’re using SmartCraps Roll Recorder. \u00a0I start a new shooter periodically, and have recorded every roll since 2014 in practice, and start new shooter after a class or other perceived milestone. However, one other way to do it is to mark days in or out of the calculation. \u00a0Not sure which is more effort but it’s an option.<\/p>\n
Anyway, sounds like you’re really focused and able to see the tweaks needed. \u00a0Here’s to hoping that it all translates to live play!!! \u00a0Go get ’em!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I think that they will be more than happy to answer your question and I’m sure they would be a better source than me.\u00a0 However, the best that I can tell is that I think that the exp of 32.666% is expectation of winning 32.666% of the passline\/come bet total, that is, the flat bet plus odds, when your point is 6 or 8<\/span> (assumed since that was not specified in the question but is a typical dice set for the Pro scores shown) if and only if<\/span> you are using the T1F3\/T5F3 dice set which is the 3V set.\u00a0 In a side note: in the smartcraps results, there will be similar expectations for the other established points (4 and 10; 5 and 9) as well as the come out – each of which will have their own unique dice set as specified in the results.<\/p>\nAs an example, say the passline\/come bet is $5 with $10 then the expectation is to win 32.666% of the $15 dollar bet which is roughly $5 for each resolved bet.\u00a0 Now that is an expectation of winning on average<\/span> for a large number of hands.\u00a0 That is quite an advantage, indeed.\u00a0 Congrats on your skill level – I’m impressed.<\/p>\n___________________________________________________<\/p>\n
